    Price is $399, not $499

    • Thanks Crazynic. Updated.

  • Show as $399 for me?

Can't find a video review for the PRO-T854 dome cameras.

Do yourself a favour, get something that support POE, i.e data and power over network cable. This system is extremely hard to installed and not future proof!

I agree. Look at Reolink cameras, I have 3. Excellent software and easy to install.

      • May I ask what particular model you have? And did you buy the cameras and DVR together or separately?

I have 3 of these https://reolink.com/product/rlc-420/ attached to a Synology DS216j 2 Bay NAS. The whole setup a little over $400, maybe less when both are on sale, with the advantage of having a NAS (which you can do heaps of stuff with) instead of a DVR.

        • @Bellyup: Thanks very much for this, great to know. Alot seems to be unavailable from their website so I'll keep checking back, good to know about a NAS i'll have to look into this more. Cheers mate!

    • This. Excellent advise.

    • Its not that hard to install, but yes i agree you should go for POE.
However if you have a small budget this looks pretty good

      • I installed over 10 systems and one of them is BNC like the one listed. Possible but……very time consuming and many things can go wrong. You will pay extra for someone to do the installation and i am very sure it will be more than the money that u saved on this system.

    • This system is extremely hard

How difficult can it be? It's a flexible coaxial instead of a cat. The same rules applies.

    • not future proof!

coaxial isn't going way any time soon. some of the largest manufacturers are still developing and producing high quality video surveillance cameras using coax.
