This camera is still new, not yet available, but close. I've been keeping an eye on it, and a couple of others; it is an enthusiast compact digital. I want it as a relatively small option for motorbike and mountain bike use.

It's the cheapest I've seen yet, most others after cashback are @ $1400.

2 year canon australia warranty. Couldn't find info on how long the cash back is good for. Cambuy say that they get their info from Canon Australia - it's not yet available for sale on Canon Australia site.

The other good looking deal I'm aware of is the Sony Cybershot DSC RX100 V for $1339 with a $150 eftpos card ($1189). This is the cheapest I've seen for Australian stock even with the last few 20% discount offers in Ebay. Can get it sub $1000 but not Australian stock.

    $1500, free delivery, $100 cashback, and they advertise the cashback is good till 15/1/18

  Yeah, I'm not sold on it yet. The lens is slow, and apparently it is soft at the long end unless stopped down even more. I'd like to see an update to the panasonic lumix lx100.
