Just got an email and it looks like EB Games will be joining the Black Friday shenanigans. The only thing we know so far is this console deal:

  • Xbox One S 500GB console
  • Assassin's Creed: Origins Download Code (approx. 42.3GB download size, internet access required)
  • Wolfenstein II
  • The Evil Within 2

Referring to past deals, Assassin's Creed Origins would be a download code, while the rest are disc-based and the console would be white and cannot be changed (as it's default).

Before anyone asks, Xbox One S does 4k video only (can play 4k-video discs & 4K Netflix etc) whereas the Xbox One X does both 4k video + gaming.

Xbox One S console bundle starts 9:00am AEDT 23/11 (Thursday).

EB Games' Black Friday sale starts Friday 24/11 12:01 AEDT and finishes on Monday 27/11.*

Other combinations of games including family friendly option

This includes Deformers, Minecraft, Minecraft Story Mode and Deformers

  • Minecraft Download Token (approx. 1GB download size, internet access required)

    So you just rock up to EB, say you want an Xbox One S, and it comes bundled with everything mentioned above minus ACO which you get via download code? All for $279? I'm mostly getting it for a 4K movie player to be honest…

    The only thing I have to say about ….white console it doesnt match my ent. shelf unit…..pioneer 7.2 amp, xbox 360, wii u, ps3, xbox one x, ps4 pro, panasonic bluray they are all black .

    If I were to get a white xbox one s to replace my bluray player….its going to be the odd looking one standing out.

    Sigh, why white microsoft for a std console.

        Buy $5 black gloss spray from bunnings and give the $279 on sale white xbone S casing a nice black spray lols

          not really most of them are sold at the RRP: 79.95

          80*0.85= $68, which is usually the price that Target, BigW and OZgameshop all sell around or undercut.

    These are 3 recently released AAA titles and this seems like one hell of a good deal. Too bad I jumped on the green One S with the Gears 4 download earlier this year. The selection of games is like directly aimed at me. A big kid.

          @dna4: Yep. Ordered yesterday afternoon and picked it up today. Not sure what stock levels will be like for pick-up in your area though as in Brisbane they are appear to be sold out everywhere.

      I did this myself. EB gave me $150 for me original XBO, + my 10% EB World bonus.

      Given the prices on gumtree and eBay, it was actually quite a good price offered by EB.

          Its def. Worth it if you want to upgrade console but the x…. you are paying alot premium for it and you will need a good tv (4k hdr) to see the visual improvement and of course the xboneX enhanced games.

          Ffxv looks stunning for me.

          Fyi you can download forza 7 demo and it will patch itself to 4k….worth it just to see the graphics. 23gb demo lmao

          My OG Xbox is only subpar for the 4k TV but I would pull the trigger when the X is down to about $500.

      I traded mine in for this today, original xbox one 500gb and a game.
      I called and asked how much the trade in was, was told $150 with a game. When I went in store the system was coming up as ~$115 but they honoured the $150 as per the phone call.
      It is worth asking about what they can do.
