Harvey Norman Auburn price matched with costco today. They rang the Lidcombe Costco store to check stock then agreed to price match. I actually had to get them to add $1 to the price to get it to $400 for the Amex $100 credit deal. Ask for Nazem or Simon.

Can you tell us what you used as a proof for the price match?
I used the tax invoice provide by Klokan747 , coupon from costco and the photo my friend took it from Costco which show the date of promotion and the price of the console.

@Thooh: they are not providing a price match . They say they dont do it with costco. even if i showed them harvey norman invoices.

Wait and see what happens tomorrow. Just got an email from JB pimping a discount on CDs and DVDs that also includes the line:
"Plus, check your inbox tomorrow for JB's 4 Day Price Frenzy."
So I assume they're waiting on Amazon before deciding on their own bundles. I have a feeling(hope) that the Costco deal won't be quite as sweet unless you don't want any of the bundled games…

Yeh, they'll let you tarde the games back into them but the amount they'll take them for is so low you're generally better off keeping them.
Make sure you sign up for an account with them if you do, it will add an extra 10% to the trade in vaule of the games

I just bought a PS4 500GB slim console for $299 at Target. Runs for 4 days.

SO do you guys suggest to buy a brand new from ebgames with the bundle or from costco for the exact 5 games.
There are a couple of new games in the 5 game bundle and if you get discount cards you could probably get it for $475 so it is probably worth it. Some of the other games are only worth about $15 or $25.

I had a look today. it was eu version PS4. Well that work fine in Australia? What are the differences from Aussie version?
One of the stickers on the box of the unit I bought indicated AU3 which I interpret as an Australian model. The region code shows as region B for blu-ray and region 4 for dvd which are correct for Australia. Either way, you really don't have any risk due to Costco's return policy:
"On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law."In the US they have a 90 day limit for electronics, but I can't find any mention of this on the Australian site.

Check with a manager at the front of the store, they can tell you what they have on order and when it is expected to arrive.
