Yeah I have already done the leg work on this for many SSD's.
It's Samsung EVO or nothing.
Nothing even comes close and the few dollars you save doesn't justify the reduced performance, longevity, reliability and lifetime.
Just buy a Samsung EVO for all your budget good performance SSD needs and if you want faster then look at Intel NVMe's PCIe SSD's for excellent desktop SSD performance.

Still not a very good deal IMO, the 850 Evo for $189 will perform better in all scenarios so I think it is worth the $10 more.
