  • USB C Monitor please

    • Hi eunos,

I have passed your request onto my Purchasing Manager - unfortunately no luck at the moment! But will keep USB-C monitors in mind when we push our suppliers for new deals in the upcoming weeks.

      • Thank you, appreciate it

  • Just got 3, god damn black friday

    • +2

Don't buy your own stock, how will there be one left for me tonight if I decide to buy.

      • +2

Haha, our Purchasing Manager doesn't allow us to purchase these deals unfortunately!! I will keep one aside for you until tonight, with a label "Held for Slippery Fish".

        Happy Bargaining!

        • I'd like you to open it if I buy, check there are 0 dead pixels. I am extremely OCD about them, I threw out my old one before my never dieing BenQ , but in 9 or 10 years I'm sure monitors have come a long way so I'll use which ever I like less as a second monitor.

        • Missed it… :( Will it be at this price again soon?

    • +2

      Hey Imsopov,

      Congratulations on your purchase, OZbargained!

We are all scratching our heads in the office here, as your account says "Associated" - may we ask, how did you get this badge??!

We don't have any associate accounts that we are aware of, other than this single Store Rep account.

      • He accidentally clicked on the "I am associated with JW Computers Online" check box that's right above the post comment button.

        • Ahhhhhh, that make's complete sense!

Gave us a bit of a shock there! Haha.

Thank you hollykryten, and congrats again Imsopov.

  • Great price for the monitor, but the red accents on the bottom really put me off since my desk setup is white & black.

    Great deal anyways OP

    • Hey superbb,

If only they had a solid black, or black with white accent model!

      Cheers for the feedback.

    • +1

      Use a sharpie

      • I preference a shepelle, it comes with free drugs.

        • +2

          Smells fishy! :D

    • I've had this monitor for a year or so now. Extremely happy with it. The red is not prominent - at least to me. In my little nook, lighting is nice, but not massively bright, and the red, even looking at it now, is almost not noticeable. It's a very dull, or matte red.

At least see if you can check one out in person somewhere. It's a great monitor for the price.

  • Hmm, looking into this monitor it seems catered towards AMD graphics cards - what's 'missing'/not made use of/less efficient/etc. etc. if we're on NVIDIA cards?

    • FreeSync only works with ATI cards. The NVIDIA equivalent is GSync and usually has a price premium.

      • +3

Don't mean to be "that guy", but FreeSync in theory works with Nvidia too but Nvidia only chose not to otherwise they won't be able to push their GSync agenda.

        • I'm going to be that guy - it's an open standard, but that doesn't mean it works with Nvidia cards in theory. Like you said, they could support it — but they don't.

    • This is probably the cheapest ive seen a 75hz monitor go for so its still a good deal even if you cant use Freesync

  • +1

Any chance on a 27" with similar species?
And what about the i5 8600k?
Pretty much the last two things I need for my build, so it would be awesome if a deal on them could happen

    • +3

      Hey James,

We're working on more deals on the back end… stay tuned.

The 8th Gen CPU's would be an awesome deal if stock wasn't so scarce to secure!

      • Yeah, I knew it was a long shot, you're already the cheapest on ebay at the moment.

  • good deal

  • will this still run at 75hz with an nvidia card?

    • Yes, you will still run at 75hz refresh rate, however no FreeSync capabilities of course.

  • +2

    Any 32” QHD deal?

    • +1

Yes please, 32" or 27" QHD gaming monitor is what I'm after as well…

    • Not at this current time fidelio, sorry about that..

Have recorded this on my feedback sheet that is shared with my Purchasing Manager that organises the deals.

      Thank you!

  • Is free sync better than G Sync? Haven't fully decided on a build yet. Might go AMD for the cheaper free sync monitors. Also what would be the AMD equivalent of a 1060 6GB?. Thanks!

    • +1

THe AMD equivalent of the 1060 6GB would be the AMD rx580 8GB

      • Sweet thank you The Chef!!

  • Can you do a deal on a 144hz?

    • +1

Hey currentfad - there is definitely a lot of interest for 144hz G-Sync monitors - it's just up to our vendors to allow the deals to ultimately happen. Trying our best, hopefully can deliver something in the upcoming weeks.

  • Any G-sync this cheap?

    • +3

Hi justwii, we hear you loud and clear! I have been pushing my Purchasing Manager to push our suppliers for a nice G-Sync deal for a while now… fingers crossed!

      • Yup after a G-Sync model too!

  • Damn…. does not ship to the NT.

    • +4

      User name checks out

  • +1

    144Hz 1080p 24" G-sync model please

    • in case anyone interested:

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AOC-G2460PG-24-LED-LCD-Gaming-Mo…

      include PANTONE 10% = $436.59 for AOC G2460PG (24" Gsync 1080p 144hz 1ms).

    • Hearing you loud and clear chonox! We are working on these in the backend… fingers crossed! I'll post straight away if the opportunity comes!

  • Need a secondary monitor… Think this might be overkill

    • …or it might be just the thing you need! :D

  • Great price, got mine for $249 from MSY about a year back.

    • Thanks zacsg1!

  • Pleaaaaase bring out a deal on a GTX1080… I got a decent monitor from you guys during the eBay 20% off sale but now my lil GTX970 is bottlenecking big time:/

    • +1

Ahh the poor GTX970 - I have passed this feedback on! Hopefully there is price drops on GPU's that we will be able to take advantage of over the Christmas period.

  • Prism M280PU 28 inch UHD screens on ebay. 144hz at 1440. I have one, but I bought it second hand recently for under 300. They should be in the low 300's after eBays 10% off.

  • Needs more Hertz

  • guys, this or the MSY asus monitor?

    • Personally for a mid-range gaming rig, this.

1080 on a 27" looks stretched, refresh rate on this AOC is quicker and this has FreeSync (if you can support it)

      • Cheers I’m just on a kabylake i3 and bought the gigabyte gtx1050 from msy. I only play dota so was wondering whether I should wait for a 144hz monitor

  • What is your dead pixel return policy?

    • Hey IamEzza,

Here's the dead pixel return policy for AOC monitors, straight from them: "2 non-performing pixels of any type located less than 10 mm from each other. This LED Pixel Policy applies to all AOC LED monitors throughout the 3-year warranty period. AOC offers 30 days zero bright dot guarantee (ZBD) applied to the full range of AOC LED monitors from end-user invoice purchase date"

      Hope this helps!

  • My BenQ is pushing 6 Years (maybe even 7) , it was only about $300 at the time, reckon this would be a decent upgrade or save my cash for a bigger upgrade? So dam cheap

    • Hey mavis30551. It all depends on you - how big is your current screen? Going back 6 - 7 years also, I'm assuming you have a non-gaming screen? This screen is definitely a very cheap upgrade and a great entry level gaming monitor. However, if you do want a bigger size, you can hold out for future deals etc. Happy bargaining!

    • Tell you what, I upgraded from a 8yo 23" LCD 60hz FHD monitor to a 27" 165hz 1440p GSync monitor. There really is a difference but it's not as incredible as reviews will make you believe… the fact that my current gpu won't push most games past 90fps in 1440p doesn't help but In my experience the upgrade came in 2 stages. 1st time you try it and it's like "wow… this looks really sharp but it will take time to get used to all this extra screen" and the 2nd stage which is not as obvious but to be honest it is the one you want. Which is when you start to notice little things in games you played thousands of times before but didn't was there and how fresh you feel after using the monitor for extended periods of time due to how much less stress you put on your eyes but not having to readjust every time there's a tear and etc… the extra fluidity of the higher Hz + GSync is subtle at 1st but use it for a week and try going back to your old monitor and it's night and day!!

      TL;D: Do it!!!

  • bummer missed out

  • i know its an old post, but does the monitor do 1920x1080 @ 75 refresh?
