Location is Bar 138 located in Barrack St, Perth City. https://www.bar138.com.au
Creating a poll to vote on a date & get an idea on the number of ozbargainers looking to party. It will be an after work / uni / school event so looking to start from around 5.30ish

This is a FREE catered event with food & unlimited soft drinks. The catch - will require at least 25 people in attendance for HQ to release the funds.

I'm pretty new to Perth so personally I see it as an opportunity to meet a whole new bunch of people 😊

Pls also comment for any dietary requirements - vegetarian, halal, etc & I will try my best to make it happen

      tl;dr — OzBargain is turning 11 this November. Organise an OzBargain birthday party for your city between 15 Nov and 14 Dec, and we'll sponsor up to $500 in venue and catering.

    i'd like to attend… will there be any ozbargain birthday t'shirts? you might need to up the standard to make it worth a half a tank of fuel and a 200km round trip… we all know public transport around here blows. can't get a bus anywhere past 6 o'clock.

    11th Dec (as voted) is best for me (possibly the 5th as a second choice).

      Generally free parking on the street around there after 6pm, so you'd need to pay a small amount to cover from 5.30pm (and read the signs carefully to be careful of clearways!).

    I would love to come but at the age of 14 I don't think my mum will go and let me hang out with a bunch of middle age men and women.
    I also live in the suburbs and getting up to the city would be a living nightmare and I met get bashed. Ehhh I'll ask my dad

        Yes I do eat cheese and milk. Just not the meat and sea food. :)

        Thanks for asking as i was searching a google to find the definition of vegetarian for you, i learn a new word: Lacto-ovo-vegetarian :)

    Another thing - for those who had asked the question, there is a total of 15 shirts up for grabs. There will also be Ozbargain green bags - could be orange? Haven't been previledge to see one let alone own one! 😆

        I will be sending some freebies to applec to giveaway at the event. However there's no guarantee that everyone will get something, as the number of people turning up might have not yet been determined. The freebies are in limited supply as well.

        However don't let that be a deterrent for not participating in an OzBargain birthday party. There will be food and opportunity to chat with other OzBargainers.
