I missed out on this Black Friday deal, so i thought I’d have a look to see if I could find any codes for Cyber Monday and found a Terms and Conditions page for the code PCYBER.

Trying the code now brings up the following;

      • I heard it was going to be FUBEZZOS.

  • Any offer on google home?

  • +1

Crap! I thought I could buy the Woolworths discounted voucher.

  • -1

    Where is the 15% off?…..

  • Only for Buy now items? Or works for Auction items too?

    • Works for auctions as long as it finishes and you pay before the code expires

  • Will there be another sale on note 8 from JB / HN / OW?

    • When the note 9 comes out

    • +3

Hang on, just jumping in my DeLorean now. Will let you know.

  • +3

next eBay sale code will be PANIC

    • or SHOULDHADBEEN15PCT :)

  • Does anybody know how you could apply this to a purchase requiring freight as the only shipping method?
No way to complete checkout and enter a coupon code as the seller has to add/approve freight charges =(

    • Code will work once the seller issues an invoice with freight charges, but you run the risk of the code expiring before they do

  • +4

Am I the only one that remembers eBay pumping out coupons looooong before Amazon launching here was even a thing? No matter, I have my shopping cart lined up and not a single product will be priced jacked.

  • can you buy 2 or 3 items that add up to $75 or does it need to be 1 item

    • +1

Multiple items may be purchased in one transaction (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).

  • Hi, anyone know of any trusted sellers for the mi box 3 international version?
    Thanks

  • Here's a question. Say I "commit to buy", for something from Officeworks tonight. Officeworks will likely pull their store from Ebay like they did on Black Friday. Will I still be able to pay for it tomorrow?

    Hmm..

    • +1

      Not if its pulled

      • By pulled I meant, disabled their store by placing it on vacation.

    • Does anyone pull products from a store-wide eBay sale ? I don't think I've seen it.. don't see the point as eBay pays the discount anyway

    • I paid 4days after I had won an auction back when eBay had the 18% off site wide.

  • Just curious — How did you derive that this deal would as you state "pretty obviously" will start tomorrow?
    Thanks

      … is probably dead.

      (Still dead @08:17)

Will it get better once Amazon gets off the ground? Not if history is anything helps us see? From that POV, all hail the new King, Amazon!

    • +1

I started to think this is a clickbait.

The code does not work (as yet) but funny that 400+ people has "+" this deal…

  • Has anyone used this successfully? It's not working for me. Says they again later

    • +1

      Read posts above

    • If it says try again later then I really hope that you can work out what to do :)

  • My PayPal will get a thrashing today

  • Thought it would be on at 9am! Will have to keep playing the waiting game…

    • +1

      It's usually 10am

  • eBay sucks

    • +2

      up all my money.

  • When you keep waiting and expecting for something, you will be less rational.
Once the deal is on, you will probably pull the trigger with no doubt.
That's the game ebay is playing here.

    • Why not pull the trigger now? And just wait for the code at 10am assuming.

  • +2

The promo got cancelled, they must have had it ready in case Amazon went live, but are now holding off.

    • +5

They're going to need to do better than 10% when Amazon goes live.

      • +3

Interested to see how well the prices on Amazon will be though.
Hopefully the sellers & amazon don't decide to Australia Tax everything and only make it 5-10% cheaper than retail.

I've used Amazon in other countries and most of the time that's what it was, around 10% cheaper than going to the shops. We think Amazon will be amazing, under the assumption that they will bring US / Japan prices to Australia, but i highly doubt that with all the taxes that the Australian Government will impose.

        • The main difference is supposed to be with electronics, mainly TV's and computer parts. That's what majority of people are wanting to buy in Amazon Australia and have been buying from Amazon America. If they get somewhere near the prices (converted obviously) of USA then it'll be great

  • Code still not live

  • +7

Looks like the code has been cancelled. They have even removed terms and conditions for this.

    • +3

Shame I was all lined up with my basket of things… That I probably don't need.

    • Shame i committed to buy an item and have just been waiting code to go live to pay … hopefully they haven't reneged on the deal after seeing how junk Amazon website is at the moment.

      • +1

They can't really renege on something that they never announced or offered though :P
Someone just snooped around and found the code T&C page, no mention of when it might go live or if it exists.

Sorry to hear you bought something though, I'm sure the seller would be happy to refund if you explain.

      • +2

There's still the 5% off code at least! :) this happened to me as well, I committed to buy something last night and waited until this morning to apply code. Once the T&C's page disappeared and others commented that it likely got canned, at least there was a back up to use. Not as much but it's something

    • PCYBER Terms and Conditions is still there, it’s just a blank page.
If you land on a Terms and Conditions page for a non existent code you get a message

This page may have moved or is no longer available.

eg PCYBER20 brings up this page.

  • +1

    still not active?

    • not active yet, i guess they canned it.

    • Just checked and not working yet.

  • all I get is "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later." since 8am.

  • +3

    Maybe 10am AEST?

    • Its already 10am AEST lol…..

      • +3

        It's 9.14am AEST, 10.14am AEDST/AEDT/EDST.

        • I wonder if this will be 12.01am ET (American Eastern Time)??? the US's Monday, which would be 4pm AEDST

        • hmmm, all previous sales have been done off AEDST/AEDT/EDST and not AEST. Because their offices in Australia are in NSW which is part of AEDST/AEDT/EDST

  • +2

I suspect that this is up and ready to go on the day Amazon launch.
The false start last week triggered one 10% day and they don't wish to keep doing this every time they think Amazon are going live.

    • Umm no it's for Cyber Monday..

      • ye, the code does suggest that :)

        • You seem to be right. The code appears to be pulled…

  • time to move it to the forum

  • At least the error is "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later" and not "Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again" There is still hope.

  • I am contacting eBay to get confirmation about the status of the coupon code.

    • If it is delayed, we'll move the starting time.
    • If it is cancelled, we'll then move this post to forum, and remove all related deals.
    • +10

Please ask them to add extra discount for delayed coupon :)

      • +1

Delayed? Did it have a start time?

        • +1

These discounts have pretty much always started at 10am, so that was the assumed start time.

        • @eug: 10am AEST isn't here yet. It's 17 mins away. Don't think they generally account for daylight savings time.

        • +9

          @eug:

So the code wasn't officially listed, and it had no start time. The T&C said it can be pulled at any time too.

Yet you guys demand more in compensation. I know I will get negged but some of you guys don't deserve the discount.

          Like having spoiled kids..

        • +5

          @smashed:

But I need the code to buy more sheet for my spoilt kids.

        • @omgitzrick: Still not working :(

        • +3

          @omgitzrick:

10am AEST isn't here yet. It's 17 mins away. Don't think they generally account for daylight savings time.

They do. It has always been 10am AEDT.

        • Its because their offices are in NSW which is AEDT. So they have always accounted for daylight savings.

        • @lplau: More logically the coupons probably become active at 12am GMT, which happens to be 10am local time when we are in standard time (AEST), or 11am local time during daylight savings (AEDT). Scratch that - logic probably has nothing to do with it.

  • I just tried and it says the code isn't ready yet. Crossing fingers it goes live, i forgot to get something from Friday.
