Same as last time. Combine with 20% off code to gain 4 months with Vaya for just under $8.

Their billing cycle is based on the calendar month, so the best time to activate is at the start of a month.

UPDATE: Ok, so I've just been told by Vaya Support that the charge incurred when requesting a SIM acts as a deposit, which is then applied as a credit on the final bill.

So after you activate, if you cancel your plan during the 4th month (currently March), there are no additional costs.

  • No refunds for change of mind
  • Valid for new Vaya customers only.
  • Redeem by: 31 December 2017
  • Apply voucher code during redemption or offer will be invalid
  • Unlimited standard calls, text & voicemail in Australia.
  • 1.5GB of data to use monthly.
  • No lock-in contracts.
  • BYO existing number or get a new one.
  • Powered by Optus 4G Plus network.
  • Free standard delivery of SIM card.

5% off ($9.45 after cashback) with Cashrewards.

  • Tried to port dad's Kogan number, port failed. When signing up, they asked for the Kogan Acc # which I didnt have so I left it blank, now the My account says to use DOB. Then it errored out. Guess they getting a nice Christmas call from me.

Also, reading comments above, does this plan start billing from November? Kinda sucks since my dad won't even be back until Jan… I was going to activate as close to end of month as I can but it already says '3 of 4 months remaining' when the number isnt even active!!

    • The plan takes a month in advance when you order the SIM.

I had to use a date of birth when porting someone from Amaysim and had no issues. Contact support to see what's happening.

      • The number ported over successfully today, I was quite worried about contacting support because so many people complained about the customer service but the live chat guy was quite nice and helpful.

However, I asked them when my plan would end if it was activated soon, and he still said end of march, the portion of the month unused in the calendar month will be 'pro-rated and credited to you', do you know what form of credit that would be? If it is actual phone credit, or do they put it back on the credit card that you had to enter when activating?

        • I've no idea I'm afraid, but yes activating the SIM this month means you've used up a month and your 4 months will finish at the end of March, as per the OP.
