  • The $799 one from ALDI is more amazing price 47" LCD

    http://www.aldi.com.au/au/html/offers/2827_16086.htm

    • Ah yes the well respected Bauhn brand.

      • Also this is LED 100hz has IPTV and 3 year warranty. Let's compare apples

        • +1

          I think it's still good to see alternatives. Not everyone has a use for IPTV for example, but the PVR function via USB may be more appealing.

          The Aldi TV is also 100Hz, but not LED.

    • yes for half the amount and with 2 years warranty, this would be the choice. The other difference is LED back lighting, compared to CCFL.
      The BRAUN is also 100hz.

  • Forgot to add you also get The Bonus Xbox kinect bundle via redemption from LG

    • well you can edit you original post?

      • Done

    • That's better deal.

  • +1

    LG recently had a price drop, hence $1599. Their 42" Can be had for approx $1200 with haggling… so not really an amazing deal.

    • Where? Ill be interested to find out. I called around and the cheapest is 1799. 1599 is the cheapest by far

      • If your going to post up comments like that please supply details so we can all benefit inertia

        • …I'm sorry?

          Old Model: 42LE5510 RRP $2299 -> $1599 'on sale'
          New Model: 42LE5310 RRP $1599 -> $1250?

          You have to be specific when it comes to TVs… can't just ask for the price on LG's 42" 100HZ LED.

          Anyway, good luck!

  • Not sure if anyone else was curious, but I was. Shipping to my address in metro VIC was a crazy total of… $10.
    =)

  • Inertia. This is a 47 inch not a 42 inch and as for old and new. Its the current LG. Not comparing apples at all

    Wow! $10only. These guys are Sydney based. Thats not bad at all

      $1599 will be the new going price for LG's new 47" panel (47LE5310) which is why this old model has been discounted to $1599.

      Hence, not an amazing deal.
