  • Hi, does this come in a longer version ? and does it have white leds too ?

    • normal version, yes,it has white leds too.

  • -2
  • Store rep, do these do white? I cannot see it in the specs.
Will this come with an extra plug for Australia?

    Thanks.

    • Producing a white color from an RGB is effectively just turning on all the colors.

      • Ah o.k. Thanks.
I saw some talk about issues with white in another deal a little while ago and it had me confused.
My colour Yeelights do white, but I wasn't sure what the goes was with these strips due to past comments.

        • +1

these lightstrips produce an off-white colour. It's hard to describe it, but, mixing red green and blue LEDs and getting an output that looks "white" is actually exceptionally difficult to pull off

You can get white easily on say, a television screen with RGB pixels, but getting RGB lights to pull off a colour-accurate white by maxing out the RGB arrays yields somewhat less desirable results.

Some RGB lights nowadays have RGB+W, a dedicated white LED channel that produces better white light.

    • if you want a decent white you need RGBW LED strips.

    • these are rgbw, so do colours and white and warm white

      hi,Swifty,

      Sorry for all the inconveniences.

can u try once again?i asked our IT dep. to deal with your payment problem.he said it is settled now.

      thx.

    • How did you get it working with Google Home? Through IFTTT?

      • Works with Google home via IFTTT. (Server sets to Singapore). Works with MI Home App.thx.

      • +1

No need for IFTTT.. it's very easy.. Google home supports Yeelight actions.. So all you need to do is download the Yeelight app, set region to Singapore, register the light strip. Then in google home 'home devices' add the yeelight add-on at the very bottom, sign in with your Mi Account, and bam, the lights appear. I've got this working with my Xiaomi Desk lamp and light strip.

  • Will this work with the Xiaomi Gateway, want to hook it up to turn on if certain doors are open

    • Hi,marsh,

      Sorry for this question.

i am not sure about this.someone can answer u?

I have wasted an hour of my time creating 2 accounts - the first one would not work. It eventually places the orders using your suggestions above - but come the payment page it will not accept Paypal.
It should be a fluent and easy website if you want business.
    Please advise.
Currently I could not recommend your website to anyone - an hour of anyone's time is worth more than the product !

    • Hi,trinity,

Sorry for all the inconveniences that caused to u.

Can u give us your email address or order number pls?i will report to our IT dep. to check out what happened to your account.

Secondly,we will try our best to make our site easy & fluent for all of our customers.

once it is settled,i will give u a reply Asap.

      thx for your understanding.

I have emailed DD4 directly just now to see what they can do.
I hope you can work it out prior to listing any future deals.
        Cheers

        • Can confirm not worked out prior to next deal, tried three different browsers, mobile and desktop across different days.

  • Not the best of sites, but I did manage to order one and pay with Paypal after using a computer instead of mobile.

    • +1

I couldn't even log in. I enter my details but the log in button won't respond. What an abortion of a website.

You're posting in an Australian site, please use Australian spelling.
Colour is the correct way to spell it.

    • Wow, that's petty

      • Petty are those who negged it tbh. I work with Americans and Canadians at work who spell things in the Australian (English) way.
Rep just copied/pasted from their site, who knows how many similar sites it's been posted on.

  • how the hell do you add the coupon.. i tried various options mentioned above but it doesn't work!… how complicated is it to have a coupon box at the checkout like other websites.. i give up.. will wait for gearbest or banggood.

    • hi,sir,

u must go on with the step at the checkout position. The discount price will be deducted automatically by system.

the coupon box at the checkout will be online at the end of this month.

      Sorry for all.

      thx.

      • What more needs to be done? I've added the coupon, it shows up.
But the amount is the same.
