Logitech MX Master 2S Wireless Mouse - $104.30 - JB Hi-Fi ($99.08 with Wacky Wednesday)

60

Great price for this mouse. I was in store 2 days ago and their best price was $127. Lowest price on Static Ice is $103.40, so this can be cheaper for you.

  • Just bought this earlier, looks like I missed out on the $5 or so off but great deal. Wondering what keyboard to pair it with (for design/webdev), the K810 looks reasonable.

    • +1

give mechanical keyboards a go, if u haven't already

      • Yeah I have been meaning to give one a try. I'd like something wireless although I know that will always lead to some performance degredation.
I'll see how I go with the mouse. Thanks :)

        • I use mine with a K780 at work, takes some time to get used to the round shapes but its quite nice to type with.

        • @eviledward: I was looking at those earlier. Not sure about the rubber part is all.
I'll keep it in mind though ta!

  • I've had them price match kogan when they sold them for $99 before.

    • I tried about 5 stores to see if any would price match any of the prices on static ice and didn't get anywhere. Good job on getting them to match for $99 though. How has the mouse been? Getting mine to replace an MX1000

      • this mouse a little heavy, but if you like it, it's a very nice mouse for work

      • tbh it's not as comfy as the mx revolution, the forward button is tiny and oddly positioned (above the back button) and the way I hold it seems to make my wrist and pinky sore after like 10 mins of gaming. I prefer the MX revo by a mile but I can't be bothered to fix my 2 broken ones :/

        • Already finding the side scrolling wheel pretty pointless, it's got far too much friction to roll it. Not found the mouse too heavy yet, but I've only been using it for a day. It'll be living at the office so no gaming. Hadn't heard about the mx revolution, might try to track one down.

  • If you're a gamer and have a thorough dislike for acceleration profiles this is not the mouse for you. I bought one last week as I thought it was a suitable successor to the MX Revolution which I had years ago, but it didn't take me long, despite numerous tweaking attempts before I went back to my current mouse (SteelSeries Sensei) and returned it for a refund.

A couple of community posts regarding the issue, while they refer to the MX Master rather than the Master 2S the new mouse still uses the same sensor.

With that in mind many reviews seem to suggest that it's an excellent mouse for general usage and while I certainly wouldn't use it for gaming I'd definitely agree that it's an otherwise excellent mouse.

    • I don't know what all this hoopla is about. Cos for me, there is no built in acceleration (I've always had it disabled with my Revolution with low sensitivity and the Master 2S has the same movement). You can also clearly tell the difference if you enable "Enhance pointer precision" (aka mouse acceleration) in the Windows mouse properties. In the thread you linked to, people are complaining that the Logitech Options software does not have any acceleration settings (to accelerate it even higher for large/multiple monitor setups) like it did in SetPoint. But like I said in the previous sentence, as well as others in the thread pointing it out, you can enable it in the Windows mouse properties anyway. Problem is that Logitech Options keeps disabling it on reboot.

  • EDIT: Sorry wrong bargain!

  • $99.99 at Costco as well
