Edit okay i looked at lesser model. 7th gen tho

    • I got the Acer spin 5 from the Harvey Norman deal. Better buy with the free VR headset assuming you have an Amex deal or three to get the cashback.

Wow that's a phenomenal price for an i7 with 16GB of ram

      • +6

Keep in mind that it's a dual core i7, whereas this has a quad core i5.

  • Anyone know if JB take multiple gift cards online?

    • +1

Need to know this as well.

Can I use the 5% voucher and pay by JB gift card?

      • These are the terms for the 5% Voucher

This coupon is unique and can only be used once. Discount coupon is for 5% off selected product purchases on Wednesday 6th Dec 2017. Only one coupon is redeemable per customer. Redeemable instore and online as single transaction only. 5% Off Discount is for product purchases excludes: Apple Products, Mobile Phones & Contracts, Miele, Asko & Dell Built to Order, Pre-Paid cards & Gift cards, Pre Orders, Extended Warranties, & Delivery. I'd say you can as the only exclusion is the use of another coupon and not gift cards. Always best to call and ask tomorrow though :)

    • max 5 last time i used it

    • Yes

  • How does everyone contrast the Lenovo Ideapad 320s with the grey stock Lenovo Flex 5 that OP has referenced (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/340313). Same specs but Flex 5 has touch screen and tablet ability though is grey stock so has no warranty. At this stage I am not able to claim any TRS.

    • Lenovo has international warranty on some model laptops

Warranty period is determined by build date and lasts 1 year.

      • Thanks for your reply! Any idea on how I would find out if that linked laptop is eligible?

  • When they have their sales is it possible to ask for yet further discount? Or do they not do 'negotiation' prices on sale items?

Bought this laptop on the last deal. Very happy with it.

  • Morning all.

I seldom post here - last time I posted was a few years ago - but I saw this and I'm looking for a laptop.

Can I ask where I can find this 5% voucher?

It seems to suggest it can only be used today 6 December.

    TIA.

    • Via email when you sign up to their newsletter

      • You mean the JB Hifi newsletter? I'll check it out now. TY.

  • Buy a thinkpad.

    This laptop is for peasants.

  • Cannot find the 5% either

Can't find spec on battery size, can anyone comment ?

  • Is it possible to replace the storage in the Yoga?

    • +1

The specs on the Lenovo website state "Storage Options: M.2 SSD / PCIe 3.0 x 4: 128GB / 256GB, System supports M.2 SSD and 2.5" HDD at same time"
So it looks like it could be replaced, or at least complimented by a 2.5" HDD for mass storage.

  • Would the lenovo digitizer pens used for the X1 Yoga and Yoga 460 work on this?

    • i doubt it. This model seems to be a laptop only (no touchscreen) and not a hybrid laptop/tablet.

Just a warning, these use PWM dimming for the backlight, so they're not the best for your eyes as they stobe on and off at anything less than 100% brightness.

      Thanks!

I was just in JB Hi Fi checking this out and I found some text to be blurry. I almost got dizzy.

At other times the text was crisp and brilliant.

Aside from that the laptop is quite nice and good value.

But that screen just made it hard for my bad eyes.

      • The difference in text crispiness is actually due to Windows 10 DPI scaling. Older applications that would have otherwise been smaller (on native res) are just magnified.

Any computer with FHD under 14" will make this quite noticeable.

  • What was the reason for JB selling it at this price? Is it likely to be under $1000 again? They're currently selling it for $1099.
