I have been looking for a good soundbar for the last couple of days. Found this on clearance at JB hifi at Burleigh Heads. $849 RRP reduced to $495 on clearance and a further 20% Polk soundbars at the moment which bought it to $396. Not sure how long the deal will last.

Sounded much better in store than other soundbars of a comparative price. Easy setup and have been very impressed so far with the quality and level of sound.

Deal available in store and online Nationwide.
Stock available at most stores in South East Queensland, haven't checked other states.

  That alone might make this worth buying; it will save having to constantly adjust the sound when watching movies because you can’t hear the dialogue and the sound effects wake up the kids!

    My Sony tv has this as well. Haven't tried it though.
    I guess it's like DVD/blueray players that have a sound normalisation function.

    Yeah, I'm holding off on getting a sound bar atm til the 2018 models get released in the hope for a mid range atmos model

    Yep. Wouldn’t buy a product without it these days.
    4K passthrough is another nice feature that not all soundbars have too.
