      Badgering new reps with impolite demands again and again only discourages people getting on board and posting more bargains.

        It was a basic statement of how deals are posted & what Ozbargainers want.

        The Rep / Associate is here to sell for their business - to make money. We need to know what is in it for us - the bargain, which requires examples & prices.

        As such, Reps need to be aware of & abide by OzBargain Rules & Guidelines, Deal Posting Guidelines & Store Representative Guide. The Guidelines are there to help the Rep & potential buyers (to make decisions if this is a deal for them).

        Giving details (examples, prices, delivery cost, business name, location if for pick up) is in everyone's best interests (especially for the Rep when it comes to sales).

        This UK business is probably unknown to most on OzBargain. Delivery cost must be shown as no local pick up is available. Best to also show delivery times.

        Reps not bothering to read the Guidelines written for them show bad manners. The Rep has responded with most details, helped enormously by PJC😉

          Thanks for the detailed response Bruce but unfortunately you've misunderstood the motivation behind my comment completely. All the points you've made are valid and could have just as easily be communicated by the self appointed OzBargain Police politely.

          Manners are free. While new members appreciate constructive criticism and guidance but there's no need for the boy wonder to be obnoxious/condescending/demanding just because he's hiding behind a keyboard.

          A rep has no option but to be polite or they will paint their business in a poor light. I suspect the boy wonder is well aware of this which is why he/she only ever attacks reps.

    This deal: $86.39AUD plus delivery was $215.99

    Without code…
    Amazon.com price from same seller: us$64 99 = $86.32AUD plus delivery *although not available for shipping to Australia.

    From experience buying online… Outdoor gear you have no experience with & can't try on before purchase may be no bargain if doesn't fit or suit your use!
