          I have about 180 games in my Steam list, including expansions etc.

          Over 100 of them have never even been installed…

          Sales like this don't do anything to help that either :(

        It is hard to organise these mass buy-ins. Usually relies on a more cohesive (gaming) community for this to happen, unless you like to gamble. I also have a home on PCPP and OCAU forums, so i suggest you join me for convo on there to get this happening.

    Cities XL 2011 is $9.99USD if you already own XL 2010.. it appears as tho the coupons are stacked hence the price.. its also giftable .. lets just hope that the memory leak was fixed in this new version and that the devs are assholes and put effort into it..

      Have a look at your local EB Games next time you're passing by, they quite often have older PC games on sale. Last time I was there they had TF2 for $15 and CSS for $10.

    L4D2 BUY-IN ($5 each): Since no one is organizing it I thought I will.

    CONDITIONS:
    - Will charge $5 a game (due to risks involved). Game received will the the AUSTRALIAN (i.e. censored) edition.
    - Must have a total of 5 other orders (for a total of 6)
    - Must be able to do internet bank transfer, and must pay upfront (i.e. instant transfer of funds). If you don't feel comfortable paying upfront, I can accept 50% ($2.50) up front and 50% ($2.50) upon delivery.
    - Send an email to [email protected] for expression of interest and your steam ID. I will reply with the bank details and mention if we have 5 already.
    - If for some reason, it does not go through (as not enough or you are more than the 5th order) YOU WILL be paid back the full amount (before 7:00pm).
    - Latest email: 5:00pm (Melbourne time)

      If you go to the Steam website and log on, go to your account details where it lists all the games you've bought. If you bought the Aussie censored one it should say '(AU)' or something next to L4D2. Usually when there are differences in a game between regions they usually differentiate them like this.

      E.g with some games I've bought they say

      Titan Quest Gold (AU)
      STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl (AU)

      If I access the store via Steam using a US IP (Steam account has an AU address), it mentions 'Low Violence Version' on L4D2's page. However, if I visit the store using my browser when not logged in and on the same IP, the message doesn't come up.

      If this is the case, can a 'US' account gift a censored version to an AU account with it remaining uncensored?

      I think that was the plan but no-one was able to do it. There are hacks to uncensoring L4D2 (http://gamers-underground.com/action-fps/31893-how-uncensor-…) however I also read it cannot be played via Steam directly (here: http://l4d2.epicwinrar.com/) - unsure whether the validity of it though.

          I had issues using PayPal on the US IP. I forgot the exact error, but it signed in successfully. The last click to complete the transaction failed. Hopefully you'll have better luck!
