OK so myself and a few others thought that PlayTV was cheap at $73 delivered,but then xavierdylan goes and throws a spanner in the works by telling us about this deal :)
PlayTV, delivered from UK, $57. It is the same as what you see on the shelf in stores over here for $130, no different at all people, I have one, simply change the install settings to Australia.

And as mentioned in the previous post, if you're in a regional area you may have issues getting this to work, unless you have the Australian install disc at your disposal.

why do you need the AU install disc? I got mine from the uk and installed the UK version, then updated it then just changed the location to Australia and get all the AU channels.
Because you need the aussie install disc if you live in regional areas that broadcast in a different way to than the metro areas

Cause it says free delivery in the UK, and 37 pounds is about AUD$58
2-3 pounds, i guess. usually less than 2 pounds for a game or dvd. also, you should actually pay only 37× （1-15%)=31.45 pounds for the item, cos VAT is not applied to the itmes to be shipped to overseas (ie here, australia)
3.99 pound - so about $66 AUD delivered.
Edit: I didn't consider no VAT charge, so less than $66 AUD then.

Hard to recommend this device. Dunno if I got a dud but all it did was crash my PS3 all the time in the middle of the day/night while it was meant to be recording :/ Ended up returning it :/

I got my PlayTV from DVD.co.uk and pretty happy with the device. I updated the software to the latest version and so far it has worked flawlessly. I got all the channels and updating the software fixed the stutter issue as well.
Just be mindful that shipping time can be painfully slow. Mine took 15 working days to arrive.
