Thank god, I sold my S8 from telstra plan last week. It’s geting cheaper everyday now.

    • If you don't mind my asking, how much did it go for?

  • Is this with Amaysim 2 year warranty so you can bring it to any Amaysim store for warranty? Also applies for the S8 Plus!

    • I would like to know as well. The warranty is stopping me from pulling the trigger

      • Purchased it but pretty sure it is. Read it on their ebay store. Great deal!

    • amaysim have a store?

      • Yes, it has been confirmed on previous deals similar to this.

  • ALSO KNOWN AS SOAPBAR OR DROPMAGNET

    • That was the S3 man

      • Still too soon bro ='[

        • aye - my note 2 lasted me 5yrs

    • What you do with your phones in showers is on you dude… but it's 2017 so why not?

I PREFER THE COMPANY OF MY WIFE IN SHOWERS I AM OLD FASHIONED I KNOW. BUT HEY IT'S ALMOST 2018, SO PHONE IN SHOWER IS ALRIGHT ON A PENSION DAY AT LEAST

  • ABN for amaysim? for tax or TRF purposes.

Very bad, Samsung store dose not repair oversea phone, evan you want to pay for it.

    • +11

Why would "evan" want to pay for your phone's repair?

      • S8 Screen is not covered by warranty, Samsung Store repair $220, Mobile shop repair $480

    • This one supposedly has amaysim warranty. It is an important consideration before buying a samsung phone. I'm experiencing issues with OTG and VR not working. It's a strange but common software fault with no solution but those who have bought local are able to constantly replace phones when it occurs. Local Samsung screen replacement is also handy if you're concerned about the waterproofing.

  • S8 is very easy to crack the screen, my one only used three week. Fix RRP $220, but not repair oversea one.

    • Were you using a case?

      • Yes, used Samsung Galaxy S8 Clear View Cover

    • +1

I honestly have no idea how I see so many people going around with cracked screens..

Don't you look after your phones? If I paid $400-1200 for something,
I'm sure as hell gonna treat it like gold..

Never dropped my Nexus5 in years…

  • I recently ordered an iPhone 7 Plus from amaysim but they failed to deliver. They’re no different to mobilciti guys who also promised to deliver my galaxy s8 in a week but end up taking just over a month. Hopeless.

I basically cancel the order with amaysim last week after two weeks non delivery. They even tried to switch me to another phone and colour because they admitted after two weeks they couldn’t get stock.

Amaysim mobile deals for me are rubbish. I can’t recommend them.
