  • Does it scan over wireless? Many wireless printers print wirelessly, but scan via USB.

  • and they come with 'introductory' ink cartridges, low capacity and not even worth refilling.

  • You can Scan over the network, just checked the manual. Run the app on the pc and then press the scan button on the printer. Doesn't look like a bad piece of kit!

  • That looks dirt cheap. Probably the cost of one set of ink replacements.

  • +1

Just picked one up, no clearance sticker on it at OW, $48 looked like the regular price.
Ink looks about $20 for colour online
    http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=HP+61+Ink+c…
    and ~$15 for Black.

    • The OW site gives the impression it's the regular price too. shrug

  • Saw this printer last week in OW when looking to replace my ink. Was $99.. I ended up going with the HP B110 for $98, only due to the replacement ink costs ($15 per cartridge for the B110), and a better resolution of the scanner. Still for 48 bucks seems like a great MFC.

  • Picked up one of these today, they had a few of them seperate with the price on a large sign.
The printer itself was very easy to setup and install, good present for my mum.

  • I just set one up under Mac OSX Snowleopard 10.6.5, it all works flawlessly connected securely over Wifi to a AirPort on a TimeCapsule, I can scan and print without cables attached apart from power. $48 well spent
