1150
PUNCH

Original 10% off Sitewide ($75 Minimum Spend) on eBay Boxing Day Deal Post

Pretty much the best PVR you can buy. Where do I start:

  • 4K compatible
  • 4 Tuners with up to 6 Simultaneous Recordings
  • CRID support (so you get perfect start and stop times… no more padding)
  • Netflix
  • Stan
  • Catch Up Apps (for Ten, Nine, ABC, SBS, Seven, plus any available PayTV channels)
  • DLNA Media Sharing (works with Plex, etc)
  • Internet-based EPG (so Series Tags, etc work perfectly)
  • Optional PayTV from $6/month (National Geographic, ESPN, Disney, E!, MTV, etc)
  • Wireless Internet support
  • 1Tb HDD
  • Multiroom available with the optional Mini (includes view and management of recordings)
  • Frequently updated (current firmware is Cascade, Daintree is about to be released)
  • Designed and Built for Australia

Negatives

  • No ad skipping (not such a problem as it does support backtracking)
This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2017

          @megod:
Thats the 20% off POWERUP code, not 10% off PUNCH code. See my links to the T&C's below.

      • +1

Yup, same in eBay andriod app and via Chrome browser also on andriod tablet. Going to try PC now to see if thats different. The headline on eBay does say 'exclusions apply' but ffs, where are they listed and how can it be "sitewide" if exclusions apply? ACCC Ccomplaint anyone? It was easier to find the eBay T&C on OzBargain than on eBay's own site!
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/351581
        https://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/punch

        The exclusions are listed as;
Purchases of items listed in the following categories are excluded from this offer: Bullion (178078), Services (316), Cars, Bikes, Boats (9800), Tickets, Travel (11,730), Other Lots More Items (88433) and Gift Cards (172,009).

Do you think someone made a mistake and set it to start at midnight USA time? Past that now…maybe GMT?

      • The code is working now.

    • I just bought it at midday with the code for $274.16 (inc delivery).

Any deals on the fetch mini?

  • Just bought one with the PUNCH code, and it works - also has C&C too!

  • Mine worked too

  • Once purchased and U have an account are these just then plug and play?

    • Yep. When you create a Fetch account you will be given a 'activation code'. Simply enter that code when you're setting up the Fetch box and it will work.

  • Code works now! Bought 1. Thanks OP.

  • Works for me too - just purchased $274.16 (inc delivery)

  • Do you need to pay monthly to use Fetch Mighty if you don't get the extra channels? Is it free to record free to air stuff?

EDIT: Found the answer "Buy the Fetch box for $399 RRP and pay a $1 one-off activation fee. There is no ongoing monthly subscription for the Starter Pack. *Movie Box is an extra $1/month for retail customers."

    • +2

There is no ongoing fee to use the Fetch box. You can if you want to pay $1/month for Movie Box or you could pay $6/month for each of the 4 channel packs. A discount applies if you want all 4. You could also pay for Stan or Netflix.

It works just fine without paying for any extra channels.

  • Thanks OP. I have a rented FetchTv box with iiNet. Now I can cancel that and have my own box, and can switch to unlimited NBN with another provider.

    • +2

That's exactly what I did. It works out cheaper in the long run.

      • +1

Hi may I ask what provider you ended up going with please? Was only going to use this as a pvr really as I only have the wifi from my phone so didn't think i could afford to have internet on continuously. Thank you

        • I'm with Telstra. However I would only recommend Fetch if you have always-on Internet.

        • @guidedlight: so not NBN then? 😂

        • @muncan: Telstra NBN

Bit of a novice here. If I impulse buy one of these but then have a change of heart, can I return directly to TGG for a refund or is that not possible with these kind of eBay deals/purchases? Tks.

Edit: all good found it…30 days return policy.

  • Hi, What ports do you need on your tv to plug this in please? My tv is not a very new model. Thank you

    • +1

      HDMI…

      • Thank you

  • When does this sale end? Can HN price match as I want to use my giftc card

    • +1

There are actually two sales here stacked on top of each other (which is why the price is so good).

      • The Good Guys sale price to $299 (ends on the 3rd January) (Regular price is $399)
      • A 10% EBay discount (unknown end date, but likely today only).

Harvey Norman will allow you to price match the The Good Guys sale price, but not the final eBay discounted price (as this is an eBay only sale).

      • Thank you for clarifying! happy xmas, boxing day and NY!

  • Just bought one, Code still Works Today

  • +1

Punch code still definitely works …………. $269 for the Fetch Mighty pickup is a SUPER DEAL…
Get it while its still here.. I've bought 2 ..

  • +1

    Got mine, code still works

  • Anyone had theirs delivered? Mine was due on 2nd Jan, still not here in Melbourne suburbs. No tracking….

    • I did a Click and Collect. Just waiting for my ISP to churn over to unlimited.

      • i was away and couldn't collect in time. Be happy to pick it up if available now. I had planned to do the swap over from the tivo this weekend, as I have to install new speakers as well so a lot of stuff has to come out and get reconnected. Annoying it takes so long for a simple delivery.
        Update:
It was delivered, the receiving dock people at work just hadn't informed me so I had to do a search out the back.

        All good.

    • Well the good news is that because of the delay, you will now get the UFC Perth PPV worth $50 for free ;)
