Mentioned this on another thread. Sydney tools seem to be selling an identical rebranded version of this for just $129 delivered.

    https://sydneytools.com.au/boombox-bbxebk-earthquake-dual-ba…

    • Which thread?

      • +1

There was no discussion about it anyway, i just mentioned it as another possible deal from the Sydney Tools Boxing day Sale, thats all.

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/351824

Not even 100% sure it is the same, its just all the specs and the appearance look identical.

        • Thanks for sharing! I too am tempted haha

        • would love to know more about this lol. how hilarious if it is a rebrand of the exact same thing!

        • +2

          @Kossac:

Hmm, i’m curious about this knockoff/rebrand too…don’t really need a Bluetooth speaker, but could be tempted!

Someone buy it and compare to the real thing for us all! :)

(Also, gunshoo, your maths in the post is super confusing. At first I thought $170.6 was the incorrectly calculated final price. I would suggest saying “Receive $135.6 cashback (120% of $349-$236) plus $34.90 store credit (10% credit for click and collect) = $170.50 cashback/credit”. Nice work on finding the deal though!)

        • @caprimulgus: yes someone please do xD

        • Updated.

    • Good deal mate.

  • OP is very smart!

  • Awesome speakers!!

  • Little confused. In short you pay $349 then get the Xtreme + 135.6 eftpos + $35 TGG credit, right?

    • Yeah buddy.

  • Isn't the click and collect store credit promotion ended? I'm pretty sure thats not applicable anymore. Still a good price for the speakers though

    • +2

Click and collect promotion still available. Only for boxing day.

  • Guys, I just bought this speaker from Good guys less than 30 mins ago, but it seems like you cant use Harvey Norman to claim it through their Good guys website as they only allowed 2 approved Retailer which are Betta Electrical and Retravision. Retravision is selling theirs for $268.00 :(. Spoke to the salesperson and they said if u want 120% u need to do it online and u cannot do it via instore. So all in all you won't be able to get the price of $178. Damn shame. I feel a bit cheated

    • It's on the list of approved retailers

      https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/pay-less#termsconditionpayles…

I'm also interested in this speaker, can you let me know how you go?

      • When I tried to fill it in with my details, they have a dropdown box with only those 2 selected retailers. There is no option to key in manually or select other retailers. :(

        • I see.

Screenshot the list in the terms and contiditions drop down menu that I linked above. List copied here for you so you recognise it. Then contact their customer service department. IT error perhaps?

        • @ozbjunkie:

it's Boxing day, they arent picking their phones. Ridiculous man. I did post it in their comment section and I used Harvey norman site and cost but I did selected Retravision instead.

        • @doomknight20:

Fair enough. Best of luck to you.

I might hold off for now.

Let me know if you have an update please?

        • @ozbjunkie:

Assuming the deal last only till today, not much point for me to update you. But I will let you know if their team gets back to me regardless.

        • @doomknight20:
I ended up buying after reading terms and conditions closely.

Hopefully I don't need to out up too much of a fight to get the deal fulfilled.

Although I am up to the challenge.

        • @ozbjunkie:

Let me know how it goes for you too, what did u do for redemption bit ?

        • @doomknight20:
Price guarantee website doesn't even recognise my order number.

Going to call customer service before I pick up.

        • @ozbjunkie: how did you go with this mate?

        • @Kossac:
Still waiting for them to sort this out. No replies yet. Guess they took a couple of days off.

        • Claim successful. http://prntscr.com/hswxlb

        • @Kossac:

Had to do manually via email, still waiting on response.

        • Thanx heaps Gunshoo been waiting to pull the trigger on this bad boy for ages!!

Manual/Email application for %120 price match confirmed. (Website wouldn't recognize my docket number either).

Guys don't forget CashRewards %2.5 for GoodGuys brings this speaker down to $169.78

        • @prxy:

How long did it take for you? Still waiting since yesterday morning.

        • @ozbjunkie:

          about 2-3 hours

  • Yeap I got an email this arvo as well. They said claim successful and I did use the HN price tag. Just to double check though I asked how much was my claimed, I have yet ot hear back from them. :) Should be good. Just waiting for the 10% Good guys store credit.

    • My email said that I would be getting an eftpos card with the value of $135.6 mailed out within 21 business days. (I used Harvey Norman as price match)

Will using the price match reduce our %10 click and collect credit? ie %10 of $213.4 ($349-$135.6) instead of being %10 off $349?

The Boxing Day Click and Collect Offer pdf says that the %10 credit voucher will be emailed Tuesday January 9th 2018 and the store credit will expire on Wednesday January 31st 2018.

That doesn't give us long to use it.

We should be able to use the store credit voucher to buy a gift card to extend our spend time shouldn't we??

      • @prxy - to which email id did you send your claim on ?
I am still waiting for the response.

  • Received my approval.

Reason web order wouldn't register is item must be collected first. FYI.

  • +1

    Thanx again Gunshoo!

Just received my eftpos card in the mail yesterday with the correct amount, and with a fair bit of argument bought a $35 gift card with the boxing day store credit.
