  Can confirm these work perfectly. You just pop in the SIM and set global roaming on tp activate it. It only does phone calls, text and data in the UK and just Data in the rest of Europe. You will mostly get 3G outside the UK which is fine for Google Maps, social media and you can use Skype/Whatsapp as a substitute.

  OP is there any plans to do US sim cards?
  For anyone else any recommendations on where to get a good deal?

  Bought one for my trip to London last time and it just works. However it is actually easily to do it you yourself when you get there. You can buy a starter kit from one of vending machines (about 3), or from boots or the news agents. Activation was easy as too.

    The advantage of purchasing this SIM card is that you do not need to be in the UK to receive or activate it.

    So you can activate the SIM card from any of the 60 destinations without having to go to the UK first - Plus you dont have to wait to purchase your SIM - you can receive it in advance and be on your way!

  So Ireland and Germany are EU included in making and receiving calls?
  Do you get charged for receiving a call from those areas?
  Do You have a 60 day option or Longer than 30 day option? Edit: Recharge option is more expensive than buying 2 sims at this deals…..

  What happens if more than 5GB data used?
  What Network is it "roaming" from? Edit: Uses "3" Network….

    1 - Yes they are

    2 - No you do not get charged at all.

    3 - We do have top up vouchers which you can purchase from us and have an expiration of three months to them. So when your low on data, you can simply top up again through us!

    4 - If you use up all your data allowance, the internet service will be restricted until you top up again.

    5 - Three have multiple networks they have partnered with.

    6 - Delivery takes 1 - 4 business days from date of fulfillment.

    7 - You can most definitely reach out to us if you have any queries and we will attend to your matter immediately.

  Currently using no problems in England. Activated in Australia and had data in Singapore, Iceland and England. Incoming phone number shows under SIM details on the phone. 3 has a mobile website to show how much calls and data remaining http://mobile.three.co.uk/account/my3/chome

      I was very happy with the service and speeds I got, however, it only connected to the 3G and 3.5G networks, however this was perfectly fine for me and i could stream YouTube etc without any problems. It roamed on great networks eg: movistar in Colombia.

  Using it now. Activated in SIN and data roaming in Finland, Switzerland, Italy … will then go on to finish up in Hong Kong. An excellent sim card.
