The recently released sony XZ premium is only $669.95 at www shoppingsquare.com.au a saving of 229.05 off rrp. They have it black, pink or chrome colours. It is the 64gb model 5.5 in screen and 19mp camera and has the Qualcomm snapdragon 835 processor

    Close to stock software experience and relatively quick updates? Waterproofing? Expandable storage? Headphone jack? Front-facing speakers? Still quite a lot to like about Xperias.

    Your precious iPhone and Samsung cameras are made by Sony. I've had Sony phones for years and I've found them more robust, more stable and better than every iPhone and Samsung I've had/used for work.
    Add to the reasons stated by Kelvin. The XZ Premium also comes with UFS storage which is a lot faster than the standard eMMC storage on most other devices.

      The two I've owned fell to bits rather more quickly than any Sammie I've owned. Last one which was a Z5 Premium also stopped responding to anything at all in under a year.

        Damn dude, that's unlucky :(
        Sony's biggest problem is they don't listen to what the fans want from their handsets.
        My 6 year old Acro S still works (slowly) and is completely original. The wife's old Z1 still runs but the battery isn't as good any more.

        @promethbastard: Z still going strong here. Have an Ultra XA and very happy:) Samsung wouldnt exist if not for Japanese tech. Not to mention their shameless ability to steal and copy over the years from the Japs once again.

      The Z2 was amazing for its time. My mum still uses one today and it runs good as new even after this long!

  Great phone, had mine since launch and battery life is fantastic as is camera and screen. Wish they had a blue light filter built in as apps don't include the notification bar but that's my biggest gripe with the phone.

  I've got this. Got it earlier so paid more (on contract). So. Etimes you regret paying more, but not this time. Best phone I've ever used (including note 8/s8/iphone). I used to think only iPhone has the 'everything' just works. But I had a Samsung. Now with the Sony, everything just works too.
