Browsing amazon to search for an extra few dollars to tip me over the $49 free shipping mark on the babylove wipes deal and I found these

4 x 30 pack of newborn nappies for $9. Bargain!

Similar situation in that the photo doesn’t suggest it’s a pack of four but the title and shipping weight (3.28kg) suggest it is

Hope someone enjoys it and if so congrats on the newborn :)

cheers OP. 2nd child due in a week and these at 7c per nappy… damn straight its a bargain :)

    • Excellent! Stock up eh?
We use cloth nappies normally, for various reasons, but in the newborn stage their craps are just way too gross to clean up after.
Already used 3 nappies this morning with her explosive emissions

      • +2

lol. i found bamboo liners are good with cloth. Easy to throw-away…

        • +1

          Link please….

          @mazuko:
          https://www.amazon.com.au/Biodegradable-Disposable-fragrance…

haven't used these, but they work out to be 7c a sheet. Good for when you run out of your stock up of babylove nappies lol

        • @mazuko:

We actually use the home brand woolies Nappy liners.
$1.78 for 100, and they work pretty well to keep the poop off the cloth, making washing loads easier.

The bamboo look plenty more enviro friendly though.

      • What was the ratio of wipes per nappies to order to optimise the $49 free shipping?

        • +1

I just did 9 wipes and 1 Nappy order
          Total came to $49.49

Don’t expect to need more than 120 newborn nappies as well be supplementing with cloth

  • Thanks op,

    great price at 7c each

I've been buying huggies from FB marketplace and if it's a good deal if I can get them for around 15c each

  • How do they compare

  • Thanks OP got a bunch…

  • That's a bargain! No bigger size tho :(

  • Thanks, great timing.

  • Wow that's unbelievable. Is it really 4 packs (30 nappies each) for 9 bucks?

  • This has got to be a mistake, they have priced matched baby bunting at $8.99 for one pack! Same with the wipes, price matched big w for 1 pack! I have ordered anyway, as I’m hoping it’s not a mistake!

    • Yeh tough call - don’t think amazon would have a leg to stand on if only one pack got sent out. The title and shipping weight are pretty certain of a multipack product.

Their defence would be the photo doesn’t suggest it and the price is so low.

  • +1

Amazing price. Too small for our little girl, but babylove are our nappies of choice (having tried almost every other major brand), so don't hesitate to get them if you're in need.

  • My baby loves crossfit

  • What’s the estimate number needed in the first month?

    • +5

      8 or so a day.

I bought 6 x 120 packs, about 60 days worth. Newborns put on 750g-1kg a month. Average weight of a newborn is 3.2kg.

The baby love nappies are slightly larger than the Huggies Newborn, so it may still be ok for between 5-6kg.

If I still have any left over depending on the size of my baby, I will just sell them off on FB marketplace.

I have just spoken to Amazon support and they have confirmed it is wrong and is only for 1 a Pack not the Advertised 4…

I asked to honour the deal they refused but said they will send me 1 pack and also give me a full refund.

    • What happens to those that have ordered multiple packs?

      • I’m unsure… I guess may have to contact them…

Pretty crappy they still have the advertisement live on the site….. and also refused to honour the deal.

  • +1

my order will be honoured or i'll never use amazon again.

    • listed by Babylove, nappies aren't worth shit (literally) to them, hopefully they honour it!

  • Yeh pretty crappy. Listing is still up with same title and price too. Not such a great start in Aus for them…

    • +1

It;s the principal. if they get stuff like this wrong then change it people wont bother. I haven't got an email yet but if I do saying the order is something diffferent id ratherjust cancel and go to chemist warehouse instead.

  • Still no email cancelling or confirming shipping. Hmm
Currently product marked as out of stock though…

    • -1

Im sure we will we get all our ones ordered. Amazon are good with that, they protect their reputation

      • +1

They have canceled all the orders and given $20 credit .

        • Not all. OP got theirs

  • Listing has been removed but order still active on profile.

  • +5

I just got my order delivered. I ordered 2 lots and it was 4 packs of 30 each. So all up 240 nappies for less than $18. very happy :)

    • Nice!
Did you get a shipping notification + tracking or did they just arrive?

      • I did get notification that they were arriving. Just wasn't sure what I'd actually get. So was happy when it was as anticipated.

    • Unless you are expecting twins ur baby will usually outgrow NB size much sooner than that.

      • Unless they were pretty small to begin with.

        • In that case may be more suitable to get the premmie ones first (1.5-3kg) Softer too.

      • My baby is going through about 7 nappies a day so my purchase should last about a month. He is under 4kg atm and should gain about 150-200 grams a week so this should see me through till the next size nappies are required :)

    • +1

congrats. i just checked mine and they're all cancelled :(

  • Order cancelled :( $20 gift card granted

How does that work? Order cancelled due to incorrect pricing for some and some others have had the orders shipped?! What am I missing?

Great start to the Amazon au experience.

    /Thumbs down.

  • +1

Same email. order cancelled. Surprised how poorly Amazon AU has started off. Product range is very limited, and now this.

  • Order cancelled

  • yea same here, mines cancelled too. Pretty average on Amazon/sellers part. not impressed.

  • Wondering if the cancellations only applied to those who opted for free shipping?

  • Beh pretty poor form.

On the other hand, free $20 voucher.
    That's good!

But, there's nothing worth buying on Amazon AU
    That's bad

But if you do find something, it comes with a free frogurt
    That's good!

  • +1

blah, order cancelled! :@ :@ bloody amazon!

  • +1

Very poor start for Amazon in Australia. They should have honoured it.

  • +1

Order cancelled due to incorrect pricing. Great start Amazon!

  • Now you can finally go out and buy nappies for your kid. I can imagine ozbargain kids doing tightarse and holding up until new nappies.

  • +1

got mine cancelled as well - it leaves me no reason to shop on Amazon.

  • +1

Bleh - I cannot comment on my Babylove pullups and wetwipes orders which got cancelled but will comment here. Come on Amazon! get your act together!!

  • +3

Mine got cancelled too, cannot believe this is how the start their new business here. what a disappointment. They could've told us earlier too, sigh!!

  • At least some of you got a notification email re the cancelled order. I’ve searched everywhere incl junk mail and have received nothing. The order details have also disappeared off my account though I found the $20 voucher. I don’t understand why they can’t just leave all the order details in and say cancelled. Not happy as a first time customer, feels sneaky that they have to make all the details disappear.

    • Order details appear under cancelled orders tab

Pretty poor form but I guess if the deal was ‘free $20 Amazon credit’ it feels a bit better
