  • How’s this price compared to woolies or Coles?

    • +2

Coles and Woolies is 480 pcs for $10.

    • +8

      also cf.

      Kmart is $8 19 x 16 cm
      Target is $9 19 x 18 cm
      Woolworths is $10 19.5 x 16 cm
      Coles is $10 19 x 18 cm
      Aldi $9 19 x 18 cm
      Babylove is 17.5 x 17.5 cm

      $8 for 19 x 16 cm is the same as $9 for 19 x 18.

      • +3

        This guy maths.

        • +2

lmao. cheap baby wipes = tight arses.

        • +2

          Quick mafs

      • +2

Kmart's Baby Solutions wipes are quite a lot thinner than Woolworths' Little One's wipes.

        • Really? Thanks for letting me know. I haven’t had the chance to try all of them yet.

If woolies’ wipes are >20% thicker over kmart’s then it would be more value for money.

        • +2

@iSamurai: I have both wipes ATM. While I haven't measured their actual thickness (got a deal on a micrometer?), I'd say Woolies' are twice as good as Kmart's. In the hand Woolies' felt like small wet towels but Kmart's felt like slightly damp tissues. Woolies' stay flat as you wipe while Kmart's scrunch up. You can see through Kmart's wipes but Woolies' not so.

        • No, iSamurai knows maths. Måns knows how to sing.

        Big W $7.50 don't know dimension tho

        • Thanks for mentioning, I forgot about them.

          Big W $7.50 20 x 16 cm

    • Aldi are $8.50 for a box of 6

  • Hang on, this is 480 wipes for $4.50? That cant be right

    • +2

It's right. The weight is heavy for just one pack

      Item Weight 3.48 Kg

    • Dont forget postage

  • +4

I can’t believe it, a deal from Amazon!

    • +1

I know! My first order with Amazon AU

  • +2

You can only buy 10. Now have to find something to buy for $4.00 to get free delivery.

    • +1

      What to buy for $4

  • A struggle as not all items eligible to add for free delivery.

    • +1

      Yes it’s a poverty trap.

  • +5

I ended up getting a pack of colouring pencils for $4

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Crayola-4012-Full-Colored-Pencils/…

    • Thanks! Let's see how we go… hopefully its not 10 x 60 = 600 wipes as opposed to 10 x 480 = 4800 wipes…

      • +2

Looking at the item weight, 3.84kg
        I think it's a box of 6 x 80.

If not can get amazon to give refund due to bad description.

        • +1

I currently use the Huggies wipes which are very thick. I just weighed a new box and it came in at 5.9kg with 648 wipes so 480 wipes would weigh approximately 3.9kg. If the product weight is accurate then it should be 6 x 80 wipes.

    • +1

Just bought 10. Have a newborn so don't need the pencils, unless the missus wants to do some adult colouring books.
To put me over the $49 I got these for the stroller:
      $5.77 - 2 x Nuby Universal Stroller Hooks https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00S0RFJUQ
Or for something cheaper, but still baby appropriate I was thinking if buying these:
$4.51 - SAFTEY 1ST Steady Grip Infant Nail Clippers
      https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B004ZLZG2M

But then I also bought the nappy pants, so was well over the $49 anyway.

      Thanks!

Does It Not Have Paypal As Payment Method?

    • +1

      No.

    • +1

Paypal is from eBay, Amazon's competitor
No way they would allow it

      • Yeah Thought so! Thanks

  • Are these good to use for an alternative to wet wipes?

Once I went wet wipes I couldn't go back to normal paper

    • +1

I use these to wipe my dog

      • would have thought you to have a great take on the subject /u/turd

        good idea, inside dog?

        • Yep inside dog

        • +1

          @Turd:
These are for external use only.

      • I do the same. plus two actual babies… wipes doesn't last long in my house.

      • me too lol

  • +1

Thanks turd. Got the pencils. Thanks for the deal OP.

  • Thanks for deal. Added it to my nappy pants order!

  • This deal way too good to be true unless it is a typo

  • Cheers, got 10

  • i know its a silly question… but would there be any fakes in amazon au?

    • I got my Nintendo switch recently and it’s definitely real stuff…

      • oo thanks!

      • Lol, but hard to fake the switch compared to watered paper right?

    • It's a marketplace, so they could have fakes just like Ebay could, though I feel like Amazon puts reviews front and center more than Ebay, so any sellers doing something wrong will quickly have less than favourable reviews.

  • Bought 10, plus the BabyLove Nappies https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/352571 to make it over the $49 for free delivery.
    Thanks OP.

  • +1

At this price it is good enough for those without babies/kids to stock up for general cleaning.

    • Why would use these for general cleaning? It’s basiclaly water on paper

      • +3

Paper tears easily but these won't. You can use it to wipe dinning tables, sinks and even computers.
Also they are almost lint free, works for mirrors too.

        • I’m sold

        • Just use some chux with some warm water. Then re-use it.
Or do what I did and buy 65 meters of chux and use them like disposables.

          I'm terrible.

        • @Jikx:It’s in the name. You use it and Chux it away

  • Anyone use these? How is it?

    I've used the following:

    • Baby solutions from kmart (still use these ones as they are the cheapest, wet enough, but does feel thin)
    • Little ones from woolworths (these arent too bad, but still $2 for 80).
    • Bigw generic ones (found these to be too dry)
    • Huggies ultra thick (best ones but too expensive)
    • Curash (not bad but expensive)
    • +1

They are pretty good, we used about 2 boxes when our bub was little and no complaint.
At this price there is nothing else beats its value. I've just bought 20 packs.

      • Assuming you did 2 orders of 10 packets each, what did you put for remaining $5

        • +1

nappy pants. I've got 2 kids still using them.

    • Sorry about late reply. Actually do not like them but that's because I am used to the thick huggies ones - you need about 2 babylove for each Huggiest wet wipe. However, given they're on special I have purchased them in bulk.

      • I tried the huggies ultra thick, feels so nice to use to wipe, but expensive

  • +2

Got a Lego set to cross the line for free shipping
    https://www.amazon.com.au/LEGO-Green-Creativity-Box-Play/dp/…

    • thank you, added the blue one :)

  • This is surely an error. If you look at any of the other wipes they're selling, nothing else comes close to this price.

Ordered it anyway. Hopefully it comes through.

  • +1

Great deal OP! Hope they can fulfil it….! Says 1-3wks for fulfilment…fingers crossed.

I usually use Huggies but too good to pass at this price! These are thinner but good to wipe down the table baby chair etc :)

  • -1

For some reason even though my cart is $54, they are wanting to charge me for delivery as well?

    • +1

You will need to select free shipping option.

  • Thanks..Great deal

  • so are we sure that " https://www.ozbargain.com.au/goto/352606 " is 480 wipes?

Amazon description doesn't explain things the best

    • nevermind, just ordered anyway! 7x boxes, i thought i better get in before it gets ozbargain'd!

This is already #1 in the amazon section for wipes!

    • yea im worried about the amount as well, the description is terrible, though sometimes i wonder if im just too dumb to use amazon since i;ve ALWAYS found their website crp and unfriendly.

  • Hoping someone here has the answer..This is my first purchase from Amazon au….my order went through fine but just noticed they've only charged me $1 so far. Is this just an authorisation transaction to confirm my card, then the full cost will be taken from my card? Just don't want my order cancelled >_<

    • +2

That is just the usual authorisation amount. Dont be alarmed. It will dropped off and when your items are shipped it will be charged.

      • Great! Thank you for the confirmation :)

  • Hope your packages DON'T get delivered by Kickway (aka FastWay).

    • They are alright to me. Ordered my switch and was delivered next day.

      • You are one of the lucky ones then. I've had several packages all delivered by Fastway and all terrible experiences (plus I know other people here and in other parts of Australia with similar experiences). I wish Amazon had the option for you to pick who you wanted to deliver your packages like other websites do.

  • +1

Woah. So cheap. Maybe a pricing error given 3 x 80 is $12 so it would make sense if 1 x 80 was $4.50

    Still bought, worth a try.

Got 9 packs, then added a pack of these, also a bargain
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Babylove-Cosifit-Nappies-Newborn-U…

30 pack newborn nappies pack of 4, for $8.99
120 nappies for $9 = 7.5 cents each! Probably a postable bargain on it's own, maybe could be added to description here

    • That's a good find, I think you should post a separate deal on it. $8.99 and all the newborn nappies you've ever need for a bub are sorted out.

  • Important messages for items in your Cart:
1 item in your Shopping Cart have changed quantity:

Please note that the quantity of Babylove Ultra Soft Baby Wipes (Pack of 6) has been updated to 4 .

    • Tthey changed it from 10 to 4? do u still have free shipping and rest refunded?

    • I bought 10 earlier..

Now I tried to add 1 and it says..

"We're sorry. This item has a limited purchase quantity. We have changed your purchase quantity to the maximum allowable."

      • I got this too, so I tried another account and could order more. Must be a 10 qty limit per account.

  • Bought 5. What happens if they just send 5 packets instead of 5 box’s. Will, amazon refund us all?

    • You can probably ask them why they mislead, then they go oh sorry sir we will give you refund

  • +1

Mine is marked as Shipped via Fastway

    • When did you order?

      • +1

This morning, just before posting here..

        • ahhh, did it have 1-3 week delivery period when you ordered?

I ordered like an hr later, so maybe they got indundated with orders

  • +1

The deal description says: "240 * 3 pack is also good for $12" https://www.amazon.com.au/Babylove-Ultra-Soft-Baby-Wipes/dp/…

Which confused me a bit. Although it's an okay deal.. eg Coles/woolies are ~480 for $10, 2.08c each), so 240x3=720 for $12 = 1.67c each and is about 20% off the average.

This deal. is way better then that, with 6x80=480 for $4.5 which is 0.93c each or about 55% savings off the average $2.08c.

Mentioning the 240x3 deal as 'good' in relation to this, threw me off a bit.

    • +2

Yeah always do your own calculations before buying

  • Where exactly does it say pack of 6?

    • in the product description

Babylove Ultra Soft Baby Wipes (Pack of 6)

  • Is recommendation to flush or not to flush these?

    • +2

      No flush

    • +2

Go google fatberg for the reason why you shouldn't flush baby wipes

    • +1

NEVER EVER flush any wipes (even the flushable ones!)… and this is coming from experience having to pay for all of it stuck in the pipes from tree roots even though the neighbours upstream are supposed to help pay (but my toilets get blocked first as I am downstream). The plumbers always say tell your neighbours not to flush anything down the toilet except toilet paper.

… and I can even show you photos like I have showed to my neighbours about why you should not flush wet wipes but should be a simple google.
