Konsmart Q700 10W QI Wireless Fast Charger Stand $9.50 US (~$12.15 AU) Shipped @ Zapals

1590

In my previous deal some people requested a charger with a stand. Zapals were kind enough to provide a deal.

This is a Fast Qi Wireless Charger that charges compatible devices quicker than traditional Qi wireless charging. Supported fast charge devices include the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus, S7, S7 Edge and Note 5. It will charge phones with cases 4mm thick or less, and a QC2/QC3 charger should be used to achieve the fast charging.

  • Cheers OP. Bought one.

  • Nice! Got a white one, lets see how it goes with iphone X!

  • Konsmart sister company of tronsmart?

    • +1

You'd think so but nah. Tronsmart don't rebadge Alibaba specials :)

      • wow they even trying to fake tronsmart brand.

        • No where near as good.

  • -1

Does this fit huawei Mate 10?

    • +2

Compatible with all Qi-enabled devices, such as iPhone 8/8 Plus/iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy Note 8/S8/S8 Plus/S7/S7 Edge, etc.

    • Had a quick look and it seems like that the Huawei Mate 10 doesn't have wireless charging.

  • +1

Does it stop charging once the battery is full?

    • +2

I would expect so. I've never come across a charger that keeps charging after full.

    • +34

No, it continues charging. Enjoy dat 200% battery life

  • +1

Wondering whether the metal mounting pad which I have stick at the back of my Note 8 will cause issues with wireless charging?

    • +7

on past chargers I've found the metal plate to get extremely hot.

    • +6

It messes with the charging. You have to pick one or the other. Either get's really hot, doesn't detect phone, or charges really slow while getting hot.

    • +2

The picture on the link right at the bottom tells you.

    • +2

      My experience: NO!
I thought that my wireless charger was dead, but in the end the culprit was found to be the metal piece of the phone holder.

  • +1

Thanks, bought 2. Might have to stick some tape over that LED for the bedroom one though

  • Would this be 5w or 7.5w for the iphone? I'm quite confused about this whole wireless charging stuff.

    • +2

      5W

very few are "apple approved" to enable 7.5W charging on iPhones

  • "The website is currently under scheduled maintenance, we apologize for any inconvenience caused" when I go to checkout.
EDIT: Doesn't work in chrome it seems, works in IE.

    • +1

my chrome did that for about 10 seconds.

  • OP, do you know what's included in this purchase? I am assuming power cable is included? No need for usb cable right with Wireless charging? So pretty much with $12.15, it's plug and play?

    • Usual that it is only the stand. You have to supply power brick and cable.
Forward research it looks like you get a usb cable.

    • +1

https://i.imgur.com/kdXkjNf.png this screenshot tells you what is and isn't allowed.

  • Awesone - thank you! Got mine 😊

  • Does this work with Samsung S5?,How is one to know what power brick wattage, and type of cable is needed?,,can you plug it into a usb port instead?

People need more info than is posted for this product.

I cant find a review online,so does anyone have any experience with this brand?

    • +1

      Product description has you covered.

      Input 5.0V-2.0A,9V-1.67A

A standard USB charger will achieve 5V/2A to provide Qi charging. A QC2/QC3 charger will achieve 9V/1.67A for Qi fast charging. Always best to use branded or original OEM cables rather than cheap generics as they usually put through enough power.

      • Thanks for that

Can the charger be plugged into a usb on laptop?

        • Yes, but it won't provide much. 5V/0.5a for USB 2.0 and up to 5V/0.9a for USB 3.0.

      • Just to clear things up, the input power does not need to be QC certified. It just needs to feed enough power to the coils. Any 5V/3A~ (9V/1.67A ~= 5V/3A) should do the trick if this unit has a built in step up (I assume it has, otherwise, why 1.67A for 9V?), or a switching fast charger which can do 9V/1.67A.

        Ordered 2. Thanks OP

    • +1

People need to do their own research too, your Galaxy S5 might take forever to charge wirelessly

      • +1

Agreed. Also the S5 needs a wireless charging case to work with this.

  • Thanks. got one

  • +1

How does this (and other wireless chargers) compare to USB cable fast charging (QC2)?

Is it really just for the convenience of not having to plug in a cable?

    • Since QC2 operates at 5V/2A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A it'll be much faster. However your device has to support QC tech and not every Qi enabled device supports it.

    • Belkin has a 15W fast wireless charger which comes close to the 12V/1.5A which works out to about 18W. But it'll set you back just under $100. Maybe just buy a couple of these…

      • You also need a compatible wall adapter that provides that power and a phone that supports it

        • That's correct. Which isn't many, but list is growing. Samsung SURE or later and note 7 and later I believe in the Samsung lineup

        • @plague69:
s6 and later, i believe note 5 and later too

    • +1

Thanks, my device (Note 8) has QC 2.0 so then I guess it's really just for the convenience.

Or in this case, inconvenience, since I've got a metal plate between my cover and the phone to attach to magnetic car holder. Can't use with this.

      • Surely note 8 has QC3 support. My S8 does.

As for the wireless charging, they have stations at apple stores, try it screen facing down, might work, might not.

        • +1

Someone did a test online somewhere, and it's comparable to QC2 - I think Samsung are being careful after what happened to the Note 7. The Note 8 has a smaller battery than 7 as well.

Thanks, I'll try it out at Apple!

  • Do you have to stick anything to the back of the phone?

    • +1

Nope. In fact if you do, it likely won't work. You need to almost have no case (4mm or less)

      • Thanks! :)

  • Got one. Thanks OP!

  • What cable is required for this? (USB-C, lightning, micro USB ect) or does it come with a cable? It's confusing as its stated that byo adapter is required but nothing is said about a cable.

  • we need some QC2 and 3 adaptor deals..

    • You mean like this one? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/350536
Or one for the car like this one? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/352713

There is one literally every other week. Search box is top right corner of the site.

      • +1

a wall adaptor one for these - so that we can actually get fast wireless charge
not going to really buy a 5 port usb charger for 1 wireless charging dock
need something like this on sale
        https://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-BW-S9-18W-USB-Charger-EU-…

        • Can not use supplied charger from your phone?

Single port deals are hard to find. Reference pricing suggests about $10-$12 posted is a good deal for single or dual ports:
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/321303
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/309209

That link you posted is not a bad deal in itself. (If free shipping. I didn't click in to check)

        • @plague69:

i would use a wireless charger for my desk at home and also at work

i would use cable charging if im on the go - or say its in the kitchen

so basically i need 3 adaptors

but yeah youre right it seems like itll cost 10ish

if only a Rep can make a good deal on them

        • @plague69:

The phone comes with one charger, but you might want to have a wireless charger at home and work, so need another charger and cable.

        • @astarman: This charger from my own deal costs more but is significantly better than the BW options.

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/350504

        • @matt_will_fix_it: just saying, normally people who need charging in locations already have a charger which is wired. Like you have one at work already right? If you plug in the wireless, it'll just charge at 73% the speed (it's claimed efficiency)

  • Thanks for sharing :)

  • Looks good!

  • why does it not work with Note 8?? :(

    • Had the same question. U beat me to that.
Would it charge with case on? Rubber\TPU case on the phone

Edit: One of the pictures in the ad says Note 8 is included in supported models. And only works with case less than 4 mm thickness.

      • True, it shows NOTE 8 as well.
@ OP or anyone associated with the store, will this work with Note 8?

        • If it works with S8 then it should also with the Note8. Possibly not listed as it came out later than the S8.
FYI. I have bought one and I have the Note8. I currently have the Samsung wireless charger as well.

    • Why would it not?

  • Wonder if you use a slower charger, less heat will be generated?

My Kogan wireless charger from about 5 years ago gets very warm when charging and so does the phone. But have been using 2a adaptors.

  • So tempted….

    • Do it. I got three, two for the house and one for work.

      • Ok bought it. Spewin… $12.66 aud

  • Thanks op got 2

  • Thanks for that. Have recently jumped on the wireless charging bandwagon and am scattering them in convenient spots. This will be perfect for my desk at work. Great price.

  • Will this work with iPhone X? I'm ok if it takes a long time to charge. I just hope it won't be like those cheap ones on ebay that might over heat and damage your phone.

    • +2

It can charge an iPhone X, but not quickly. Qi charging does make your phone hot. Higher end chargers feature fans or some form of passive cooling.

      • It actually degrade your battery if you do fast charge too much especially those that makes your battery hot.

        • +1

Heat itself is what degrades the battery. Quick Charge tech itself does not and is power efficient.

  • Odd that I am getting Address Error on my order status. Does anyone have the same problem?

Been trying to reach the help desk and no response so far.

Not in rush in getting the charger but I don't want this to slow it down even more.

    • Are you using Edge by any chance?

      • Sorry, I am not following; what do you mean by Edge?

I ordered via Chrome browser (Windows 7).

    • I'm having a similar problem. Its still being processed even though I've purchased it two days ago.

      • What’s the delivery times for aus?

  • any updates guys? Mine still says processing :(

    • I received a shipping notice at 11:39pm yesterday. Was processing since Sunday afternoon.

      • Delivery times for Australia?

        • Mine states 7-15 business days via Australia Post - Air Packet, but everything I've ordered from Zapals has been received within a reasonable time-frame.

        • @matthewk85: sweet. Thanks. I’ll be ordering one soon.

  • +1

Thanks OP! Hope this charger is good quality as its so cheap!

  • +1

    Thanks OP!

  • Recommendations please for this or the other one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/354420for iPhone 8 Plus?

    • Oops, are they the same product (just branded differently)?

  • Received mine today, it gets very hot.

    • Mine doesn't get hot, but charges really slow.

      • try swapping to original phone charger and cable.

  • Bought 2. Received yesterday. Set one up - worked well all day. Came back to use it this morning and its dead. Using the second one.
    Have emailed Zapals. Lets see.

  • +1

Too slow charging, misleading and waste of time and money, charging isn't consistent. Shows one time 38 minutes then few minutes later it shows 1 hour and 3 minutes till fully charged. My battery was at 71%. Stupidity

    • try swapping to original phone charger and cable.

      • And then what, compare how much time is left to charge or?

  • it charged much faster with my original samsung cable comparing to the cable that came with the wireless charger.

    • Well I got a galaxy s8 so it came with a c type cable, not micro usb, I cant plug in the c type cable to the wireless charger.

      • then you need to get a cable and charger that supports fast charging.

        • I'll get it done. What a stupidity, selling a product and claiming something but it doesn't do that out of the box and with accessories that are given. Thanks for your help mate.

        • @drazenm: Well they did say you need the original fast charge adaptor and fast charge cable in the last picture.

The only thing it doesn't say is the need for Micro USB cable, type C cable users need to find a Micro USB.
