Been searching for this exact card for a little while, and this is the best I've found.

Marked down from $46.49 to $42.05, and the Wireless1 end of year deal brings it down a further 5% with the coupon to $39.95 plus free delivery!

This is my first post, let me know if anything is wrong :)

bought a few Samsung U3 64GB from gearbest for around $25 ea, all works fine

    • Did you also buy two Google Minis last night for $8?

      • +1

        how did u know?!

        • +5

Your other 2 Google minis in the kitchen were listening in..

    • I looked at getting one of them. It's for a DJI Mavic, and people seem to have very odd problems even with quality brand cards. I decided to go with the recommended brand/model to be sure. I'm sure the Samsung would've been fine too.

    • Any particular deal?

  • Nice. Dumb question, these all work with Nintendo switch right? I don't need to buy the Nintendo branded ones?

      Yup.

That's just pure marketing right there.

  • $42.05 is a weird price sounds like they just up the price by 5% to cover the coupon … but still good price

    • Agreed, although the original pride is 46.49, it's still a bit odd. Agrees with their eBay price though.

JB price matched this for me

    • +2

I find that JB is very hit and miss. I've previously heard excuses like "we don't do online prices" from one JB store, then had no issue at another store.

      • Definitely. I tried price matching a soundbar at JB hifi with Bing Lee. They said no because Bing lee was way too cheap ($399 vs then price $289) lol. Bing Lee aren't idiots selling it at a loss, JB are just snobs in this case.

        • I had a similar experience at Harvey Norman Moore Park - they said they couldn't price match on a Sony bluetooth speaker that was a mere $20 cheaper at Bing Lee (iirc) - they claimed it was below cost price and wouldn't do it.

      • That's because some JB staffers are there to make commission (they'll say 'No') and some are there to keep their jobs and make budget (they'll always say 'Yes').

    • Heck, wish I'd known this a fortnight ago - I bought one of these from JB Hifi with the 15%-off vouchers on eBay, but got them to price match Good Guys (or Harvey Norman) who were selling at $49 ($10 cheaper than JB).
I had seen these at $39 (I think) on Wireless1 but wasn't sure I trusted them and didn't expect JB to price match an online retailer.

      • I was only doing it for the first time, I hardly shop at JB. Initially wanted them to price match Officeworks ($1 cheaper). Glad I asked casually about price matching online store. They said yes if I can show them the online price plus shipping cost. I quickly Google it and wireless 1 came out the cheapest with a big free shipping logo beside the product. My next target will be noise cancelling earphones…

        • Worth bearing in mind for future. Thanks.
In my case, the difference was only $2.50 (courtesy of my voucher), but next time I won't have a such a voucher.

  • Anybody know the difference between the XC1 listed and the Extreme A1 V30?

    • Essentially nothing, just a new speed class denomination

OW 5% price beat? Worth a shot.

  • Will this be ok for a dashcam? Say 1080p @ 60fps

    • Should do, it's the recommended card for the dji mavic, and it can record at 1080p 96fps.

    • Yes, it works with GoPros so it'll handle those dashcam requirements fine.

  • Good for surface book?

  • Definitely real? So many fakes out there, I'm not really familiar with Wireless1…

  • Is the 'Extreme' worth the $10 more than the 'Ultra' ?

    • Depends on the use. The Extreme is going to be faster, for GoPro etc yes. For bulk storage on a phone probably not.

    • I think the extreme can do more write cycles, which means it will last longer in a dashcam etc

Price matched at OfficeWorks for another 5% off!

  • Just curious to know how people price match discounted price (after coupon code)?

Just show the guys at the store the final cart price?

    • Yeah just do a screenshot or printout of the checkout

    • I tried at a JB & they said they’d only match a physical store, then tried officeworks and just showed them my phone with product in cart.
