Don't mean to stop you from supporting Amazon Australia.. We need good competition.. But if you want it a little cheaper.. Gerry has it bit cheaper.

    • Cashback doesn't look retailer specific so you may also get the $50 cash back from Myer. It is few dollars more from Myer but maybe you don't want to give your money to HN

      Cashback - https://promotions.delonghi.com.au/xmascoffee/Terms

      • Should we assume that cashback applies to the Amazon deal also which takes it down to $445?

        • Apologies it does say "Participating Reseller as defined by De’Longhi Australia". You would need contact Delonghi to confirm

you should buy this yesterday from Myer, same price plus 10% off plus $20 off.

I have a Jura J7. More expensive, but since going for a semi-automatic machine with fresh beans, there has been no looking back.

Pays for itself off in the amount you save from cafe coffee (and more consistent) in no time.

  • I've recently upgraded from Nespresso too with a Delonghi factory second. I've bought: http://www.delonghi.com/en-au/products/coffee/coffee-makers/… (which was brand new in David Jones for $3599 on the 24/12/17 - https://imgur.com/a/1W90S)

At the budget price range they have the ECAM 23.460.S for $649.50 http://www.delonghi.com/en-au/products/coffee/coffee-makers/…

    • So what kind of defect did your factory second unit have?

      • It must have been a return, I could see ~150 coffees in the statistics menu - it looks brand new, and works great :)

I previously purchased a fully automatic Delonghi factory second in 2009, which died around the end of 2016. I then had a Nespresso for the past two years and the coffee was terrible.

        • The DELONGHI ECAM65075MS Primadonna Elite Touch that you bought is on at DJ's for $2,699 currently. However the factory second is $1,080, so I'm really tempted. Have you been happy with the machine? Also how is the bluetooth app?

  • We bought the ESAM4200, which is similar, for about AU$360 delivered about 6 years ago and still going strong. Arrived in just over a week from the UK too..(wish Gerry could do the same!) Was well priced again recently according to CamelCamel: https://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/DeLonghi-Magnifica-Espresso-C…

Not sure if you get an international warranty (not that we have had trouble with ours). Great reviews and a great machine.

  • Very good machine. We own the 6 year old model and all that's changed is the outer shell, internals still the same. They also moved manufacturing from Italy to Romania.
