Very average headphones, not great for music, horrible for outside (when it’s windy) and ineffective in-air noise cancelling. The only positive is that they’re quite comfortable.

I've got these as well. I had the same issues regarding sound quality, but I found that using a music app with EQ settings made this a lot better (PowerAMP is what I have used or phone's built-in EQ adjustments). All sounds very tinny and flat with no adjustments.

AptX and non-Aptx quality to me is basically the same. But I am not an audiophile

      Wind noise sux

ANC works well enough on an Aeroplane. ANC on a bus does not work you have to turn off the ANC or you get strange reverb sounds as it tries to cancel out the bus engine noise.

      • I only want to use this indoors (at home on my PC). Does using wired improve the sound quality somewhat?

        • Wired, wasn't bad tbh, though I found that I still had to adjust the sound, but it doesn't take much to get it right. I hope that helps. These are good indoors.

The included wire to me a is a bit short. More for when I have run out of battery and its a last resort.

I have had these for nearly two years and I wouldn't recommend. The quality is mediocre and I honestly prefer the earphones my S8+ came with. Doesn't connect to PS4 either, even though it is made by Sony.

    • It does suck that their own products don't work with PS4 natively, but there are a few Bluetooth USB Adapters that support AptX-LL that you can connect to the PS4 to get your headset working via Wireless if you're still wanting.

I'm using the one from Avantree and it works fairly well.

  • Bought one on CC for TV use. Should be able to ask for refund if below expectations.

  • JB HiFi agreed to price match it for me.

They have one on hold for me to collect tomorrow morning.

    • Would really recommend testing them out first at JB Hi-Fi, I don’t think they’re worth $150.

    • If JB HiFi readily price match over the phone… I would be wary of the item, could be slow moving stock. I find next to impossible to price match over the phone with JB HiFi, you generally need to be there and be ready to buy for them to do anything.

      • Got his name and he agreed to hold one aside for me.

I can't ask for much more.

I understand your comment about slow moving stock. But a product is as good as the user wants. To me it sounds great.

  • I'd compare them to the Sennheiser HD 4.50 headphones which I've just bought and very happy with. $197 at Officeworks!

  • I'm listening to them now. Straight away I can tell the lows are abit lacking, but treble is fine but sound stage is kind of flat when compared to my other headphones (Ue4000, Bose qc20, and even the koss porta pro)

But they definitely sound better than my cheap Panasonic nc and Sennheiser Hd419. Those are what I've worn for over 2 years.

The cups are a wee bit shallow and my ears are just touching the inner foam but other than that, the weight and the fitting is fine.

I'll give the sound a 'meh' rating (and the comfort an 8 out of 10.

The noise cancelling is very mediocre and is quite soundly beaten by my Bose Qc earbuds.

  • I should say I got this today. The noise cancelling works great. And the sound for me is great. But I am not one of those audiophiles. For me it is good enough to mask the sound of my wife asking question :D :D
