Hi guys,

I posed a deal about Oporto last week and few people liked it. I was at Oporto on the weekend and saw the new Bridgestone store opened next to it. They also have a shopadocket deal.

  That’s hardly a service, expect a lot higher price for log book servicing, rarely is a minor service just oil and filter with safety checks.

    I go on my dealers website and see what they're going to do for my next service and then do it all myself. But minor service can be just an oil drop and filter replacement, no?

      Some vehicles maybe but with the longer service intervals at 1 year there’s usually other filters (fuel,engine/cabin air) also brake fluid that needs doing every 2 years, they often put one or two of those in with minor services now to break up the cost from the major service and because of time factors.
      Usually the only cars that have just the oil and filter to do on some services are those on 6 month intervals.
      Most cars will be looking at extra costs on top for a scheduled service.

        Okay, good to know I'm on the right track then. My major is coming up and I was planning on just replacing everything from fluids to belts.
