The only manufacturer that solely specify Mobil as their approved oil is Porsche.
Golf GTI approved oil is 5w30 and can come from Castrol, Valvoline, Penrite, Nulon, etc. etc. However, a Porsche Macan with the exact same engine is 0w40 and only Mobil 1 is approved.
I wonder how much Mobil pays Porsche.
The % off is pretty useless when you have no idea what their starting prices are, as they only apply to the full retail prices of the items.

Some potential savings there! Although not sure why Repco sells Mobil 1 oil at $100 per 5 L bottle. That makes it $70 even after discount. Completely uncompetitive.
