iTunes - Wall-E, Inside Out, Cars, Incredibles, 13 other Pixar Films under $10 (under $8 With 20% Off iTunes Cards, or 60% off)

170

There are 17 Pixar titles under $10 on the iTunes Store (so already under half price), but they're even cheaper when combined with the 20% off iTunes Gift Cards @ Myer deal.

The promo is prominently featured in the iTunes Store (the only link I can get opens in Music for some silly reason).

Here's a selection:

Better and cheaper than even the (standard-def!) DVDs of the same titles at Target and JB.

UPDATE: still available, so will likely remain so the rest of today, and possibly the next 7 days since they do big refreshes on Fridays.

UPDATE: expired today.

    I feel old now

      Watch Up! then…

      • On a side note, one of the saddest opening scenes in animation I've seen…

        Good film though.

  • Any of these sport 4k HDR/Dolby vision on iTunes (I'm on my android smartphone so can't check at the moment)? Keen to rack up some 4k titles now that I've bought an apple tv

Checked a few including finding dory - highest hd available is 1080.

Last I check, Disney hasn’t signed up for 4K with iTunes

Good question, I just a had quick squizz — the short answer is No.

The iTunes 4K library is small but growing, but I am surprised to find Illumination, Dreamworks, 20th Century, Warner titles, but no Disney/Pixar!

Disney is the conspicuous holdout on 4K on iTunes. My guess is they are saving 4K for their own streaming service which is launching in the next couple of years.

Disney hasn't jumped on the 4K bandwagon yet but if you purchase through iTunes your HD copy will automatically be upgraded to 4K for free once it becomes available.

      • Good point, will buy anyway and probably won't watch any of it till it gets the upgrade anyway. Thanks.

  • They regularly run bogof for these titles on DVD or blu ray for those that prefer.

Let's also not forget 4.9% cashrewards!

  • Some of these are currently streaming on Netflix. Check justwach.com.

Wonder if they’d be 4K already if Disney hadn’t bought Pixar.

    • I wonder how long they'll be available on Netflix for given the announcement of Disney's own streaming service in the US (and yes the articles say Netflix said Australian viewers won't be affected… but for how long?)

      • Buy what you like for multiple viewings and not have to rely on streaming services. I’ve missed out on some movies since they’ve been gone from Netflix, but too expensive to buy now.

        • Agreed - but I’m glad they don’t put everything in the Disney vault like they used to. That was a pain trying to track down a copy of Aladdin on DVD back in the day.

@jace88: Aladdin? Tell me about it! I was lucky to have bought a copy from way back and was able to help a friend out when he couldn’t track it down. Now it’s on Netflix but just in case, got Blu-ray and I think on iTunes as well. Bloody Disney! LOL

  • Please tell me how you got to ~64% off?? Doesn't make sense mathematically from any angle I can see.

    Just because it's available somewhere for $25 doesn't mean it's 64% off.

    • As I mentioned in the OP, I believe their regular iTunes Store pricing is around the $24.99 mark based on the US iTunes price for Wall-E (linked) of $19.99 USD — this is merely my best approximation (hence the tilde symbol) because I don't know how to get their historical pricing.

So about $16 saved off a regular price of $25 is a 64% discount.

I thought the approximation was reasonable, but as I also mentioned, I'm happy to be corrected 😊

Good price, also includes iTunes Extras. I'm not holding my breath for 4K but I'm pretty sure my kids won't care.
