  • Cheers mate

  • Wow that's a decent freebie, the juice. (Worth $4)

  • +2

Could I just get these freebies without buy the fuel ?

    • +2

      Yes.

  • +4

Yay, more free melts is my favourite! If anyone hasn't tried them, these are fantastic, especially on a hot day.

    • Yes, a free coffee melt is better than a $1 slurpee on a hot day…
But if you had to pay for both, I reckon the slurpee would do it for me

It's easy to make a statement that you know will be agreeable to a few people…

I'm just trying to help people be aware of what they are ingesting. Knowledge is better than ignorance, free or otherwise.

        • @nismo:

yes, but you are also telling people to avoid the product

        • -2

          @Bearosaurus:
My opinion is that there is no nutritional/health benefit in consuming a 7/11 coffee melt, so yes.

        • +1

          @nismo:

You might as well just tell everyone dont eat chocolate or ice cream at all because they have no nutritional value. Why pick on just 7 Eleven’s coffee melt?

      • +2

Technically better than a large slurpee of 40g of sugar compared with a coffee melt of 28g.

      • +5

Some people worry about the calories in the sushi, or even the free fruit when that has been offered before. Personally, I prefer a bit of everything in moderation and a coffee melt once or twice a month fits within my calorie budget.

        • This is sensible. If you've got the self control, that's great :)

        • @nismo: Evidence says they probably don't.

    • +2

Free melts are great!! is the price of a melt $1 or $2?? I swear they were $2 and then they dropped to $1.
The trick is too swirl it around and make it creamy before you drink it - yum!

    • The melt is pretty good, but the iced coffee is just too watered down and pretty tasteless.

  • +2

In new offer I lost free slurpee without claiming … :(

    • +1

      And all that sugar.

      • Slurpee Zilched exists. 1% sugar.

    • +7
      • WOW… I didn't think slurpees had so much sugar - a lot more than 'regular' soft drinks that already have too much sugar.

        • It doesn't, "A large frozen Sprite Splash from McDonald's followed by a free refill contains an astronomical 120 grams of sugar, equivalent to 30 teaspoons."

I didn't know you could get, "a free refill" at McDonalds. Its 15 Teaspoons or 60 Gms per serve. You can get Zilched which was 1% Sugar.

    • +1

No you didn't. The free slurpee appears and disappears based on the temperature high for the day - if it's above 32, it appears. If it's below 32, it disappears.

10c profit in SA, NT and NSW after returning drink container.

    • +2

      Where in NSW?
I have yet to see a single returns machine in Sydney.

    • +1

definitely driving all the way to Melbourne back to Adelaide just to get 10 cents

    • I was always wondering how the recycle works? How to count the bottles?

      • In NSW the bottles have to be completely undamaged. Even a small dint in a bottle can make you ineligible for a refund. :(

        • never heard of this in nsw… do they accept any bottle and give you 10cents on spot after checking?

so much free drinks late from 711

        • @leehungfei:

Only certain containers… some beer bottles have worked for me, whilst wine bottles are not accepted. Another indicator is the 10c logo on them - but even then some with logos aren't accepted.

I usually take a large container of bottles there and come back home with rejects

How often can this be used?

    • How many phones/devices do you own?

It's generally 1 voucher per app in my experience. Even if you uninstall and reinstall it knows you've already used the voucher on that device.

  • +3

Sadly no free regular coffee this time though

I have free coffee on the app.
If I am correct, you only get free coffee if you recently locked-in a fuel price.
(I think this is a recent change.)

    • +2

Correct. Note you just have to lock it a price not actually purchase fuel.

      • Mine never works.

  • Wow, thanks op.

So Can I go and buy a sushi for $3 and get a free juice at any 7-11 (even ones that don’t sell fuel)?

    • Yes

      • +1

Can't you just get the free drink? Don't think you need to buy anything

        • +4

Can confirm you don't need to buy anything.
Some 7-11 stores are funny about using 2 coupons at once, so if possible go to the woman serving not the man :)

        • +1
  • +1

I also got a free Krispy Kreme Doughnut thanks to signing up an account :)

  • Also.. do you have to hand your phone over for them to scan the bar code?
I hate giving my phone over

    • +1

      I scan my own :)
The scanner is right there in front of you in easy reach.

    • I don't remember where I read this but they're not supposed to touch your phone at all.

      • The attendant was having a lot of trouble scanning my phone once and dropped it to the floor, could be to prevent this from happening.

      • They normally ask for your phone to scan, but I just say can I scan it myself or just go on scanning it.

  • +1

Can't remember when was the last time I paid for something there.

  • I locked in a fuel price and free coffee popped up.

    • Do you get charged to lock in a fuel price?
I tried and they want my CC details - just curious if they charge me for it

      • You need to have credit in the account to lock in a fuel price. So yes you will get charged but it becomes credit

        • Yes, you load credits into the app before lock in a fuel price. You don't have any obligation to purchase the fuel after price lock up.

  • I'm only seeing the coffee and the coffee melt. Anyone in the same boat?

    • Me too!

      • +1

Think I found a solution. Turn on location then let it refresh.

  • I got free regular coffee.

  • I don't have free coffee melt or iced coffee, just other s

  • Hi all,

I have 4 free deals in my 7/11 app
Just wondering can i reseem all 4 in one day from different 7/11 around me or can i only redeem 1 deal a day from any 7/11.

    Thanks

    • You can redeem them at anytime you want even all at the same 7/11 at once, however some attendants might try to tell you that you can only redeem one at a time however 7/11 confirmed for me that you can use multiple offers in the one visit.

      • You actually aren't supposed to use multiple offers in one visit. The attendant is correct. The offer terms quite clearly says "Not valid with any other offer".

        • +2

They are separate offers that are not being used in conjunction. Not valid with any other offer would be like claiming the free coffee in the app and then trying to also claim the in store offer of a $2 muffin with any coffee. Since you used the app offer for the coffee you have to pay full price for the muffin. If they didn't want you using multiple offers per visit/day then the t&c's would state something like 'Limit of one voucher per person per day'. This is not the case as was confirmed by 7-eleven.

  • Ty

  • any 7-11? or only form the 7-11 petrol station?

    • any 7-11 :)

  • +2

Just got my free juice - I got the water apple + cucumber lemon flavour. Very happy :)

Picked up from a regular 7/11.

    • Sounds like an interesting combination, any good?

      • All of the juice flavours were quite interesting…Very hipster flavour choices. It was nice. Hot day, cold drink - can't complain! :)

  • Thanks Phew
    You are legend mate….

  • i only get juice and coke

    • you may need to turn location settings on or scroll down.

  • Wow great deal, thanks!

  • Just FYI, the free coffee melt and free iced coffee are deals which were released a few days ago, and are not newly released today. So if you’ve already used one (I have), you don’t get another one :(

Also, not freebies but other new deals I got are:
    $23 gas swap (was $28)
    $2 90-100g Twisties (was $3.50)
    $4 wraps (was $6)
    $2 Kettle Chips 90g (was $4)
    $1.50 Brownies (was $2.50)
$3 Sanitarium Protein Blend drinks (was $5.50)

  • I just got my juice. Water Apple + Cucumber Lemon.

The other flavour available is Water Apple Lime + Activated Charcoal

The 1st one has less sugar but does contain colouring.

    • Was it nice?

      • Yeah it was pretty good, quite light and not too sweet which is how I like it. The main flavour was cucumber with a touch of lemon which was interesting because according to the ingredients list the greatest concentration was supposedly apple.

  • +2

I don't have the free juice & soft drink offer on mine. Anyone have same problem?

    • Same here

    • It's constantly changing. I couldn't see the free slurpee any more this morning. Yet this evening the free slurpee over 32'c is available again. I'd try to update app and review offers again

      • +1

Maybe the weather is over 32c today that's why? Got and used one today.

    • you need to turn location settings on while using the app then close the app and reopen they will be there then if available in your area.

      • +1

I did that and now I have those offers on my phone. Thanks heaps.

  • +2

What a time to be alive! Free pizza, free coffee melt and juice! All you need is access to ozbargain and phone apps.

  • +1

The best thing about having multiple phones is taking advantage of 7/11 deals :D

    • At least there is one advantage of having to carry a work phone and a personal phone.

  • Went to a 7 11 here and the lady says its one offer per day… yeah right lady, go to another and they scan my phone more than once no problem lol as long as the T & C dont specifically say one free offer per day then shes clearly wrong.

    • Was told 1 per visit per person. You can't really expect to get the juice, coke, coffee and slurpee and walk out without paying anything. Seems fair lol. Got fuel and free Slurpee (34c).

      • How would you determine a visit? Walk out, down the street 10m and back for another visit?

Might as well let them claim it all at once and put a smile on everyone's dial!

        • They didn't say per entry lol. They are probably trying to get people to, visit frequently so they get used to visiting their stores.

I was offered the freebie with a smile. At least not like dominos where they hate me since the Microsoft free pizza coupons for visiting twice with the same offer. Pizzas were bread with sauce both times. I hope Microsoft doesn't pay them RRP for them.

        • @El Grande: Thats why I say all these offers are governed by T & C as u should always read them, if it dont say useable once per day or whatever then from a legal standpoint you can use all at once. Im not a lawyer btw lol had a similar issue with Nandos offer for free chips on registration the attendant was adamant i needed to make a purchase first so I wrote to Nandos HQ for clarification regarding the T & C. They replied i was correct so off i went to get my chips ;-)

      • Doesnt matter what u expect or what seems fair if they dont want people to use all these offers at once reflect that in the T & C's. Goes for everything.

        • T&C apply. That's what most places have on the coupons. I am sure they know more about their T&C's than me. I'm not going to start an argument over $1 coffee where I am more likely to be wrong than right. I have seen it happen though.

Still salty about dominos though. Still, have a coupon left. Time to find a new store to use it.
