Was just about to buy a drink at flinders Street station when I stumbled upon this group giving away free kombucha ginger lemon flavour soda waters. Not that great but can’t complain if it’s free.

I'm yet to try it…Kombucha tastes like a bottled fart and bin juice, with some added sugar and flavouring.
@Thefong: OMG yes!! I said that at a [vegan] party and the look they gave me was as if I'd worn a crop top to church XD Some are worse than other though. This one is ok. But I'd never buy it.
Yep, I've received a free sample before; most of it ended up in the bin. First sip is kind of ok (probably because it's unique), but it gradually gets worse and worse… an acquired taste for sure
Is it a hipster drink (they each pretend they like it to fit in but actually all hate it) or is it some sort of health thing??

Kombucha is not a soda it's a fermented drink. Really good for the guts. There's no sugar in it as it gets eaten up in the fermentation process. Doesn't taste that bad :)
