  • is featherdale any good?

    • +1

Yea its not too bad … certainly no taronga, but its fun for the kids to go and feed the wallabies and kangaroos etc

      • do you know if taronga zoo or featherdale has goats? my kids want to feed goats more than anything

        • -1

          more than anything

I think the goats prefer not to be confined and ultimately slaughtered (you know, when they lose their profitable cuteness) more than your kids might want to feed them.

        • @thevofa:

          You're a barrel of laughs.

        • +1

yes they have a couple of goats in the farmyard section

    • +1

      Yep,

easy to get to, good parking and lots of easily accessible native animals.

It's different to Taronga but much more approachable in many ways and having been to Taronga and their stupid "Sumatran Tiger" experience a few weeks ago much more genuine.

Allow a couple of hours for a visit.

      It's subjective.

If you're a paying visitor - maybe it's good for you.

If you're a captive that's bred / abducted to be displayed, handled by kids, never to enjoy the freedom to roam and find sexual partners (sometimes even forced to breed against your will) - then I'd expect not too good at all.

  • Bargain. Great deal, got one.

Need to have first entry by March 21 2018, otherwise it will expire.
