USB Hub for devices

Hi guys. I'm looking for a decent USB hub that I can use to charge a bunch of my devices in the Bedroom. I'm not after a something that is powered by USB as I've found these are often really slow to charge.

I'm currently using old phone AC USB Chargers but this is annoying to swap cables every time I change my device.

Any advice for something decent?

Basic plan is to have something powered in the bedroom and then upping my cable management game with something like this:

No need to for QC etc. as most of my devices are USB type A - to micro/standard/proprietary.

I’m not sure if this is the specific one I have, but this is what I use and seems to be popular on OzB.

    • ^ Like this guy said.

Blitzwolf or Tronsmart. Don't look for anything else.

      • Anker?

        • Is it cheap? O_O

          @Yummy:

Well they're known for top performance and reliability. Shouldn't really dismiss those.

  • Aukey and Anker are probably the best. Not the cheapest but they'll last a while so they are good value. I find the cheap ones never last and always seem to offer less current than they promise

Do you want standard USB? Quick charge? USB 3? There's a minefield of options. Tell us what devices you own.

You can get an international models cheaper then go to Jaycar for the Aussie cable.

    • Thanks. Future proofing would be nice but most of my devices are tech items such as Garmins, Fitbits, Xiaomi Powerbank, Ipod Nano.

Pretty much all are USB-A to Micro/Standard/USB/Proprietary so no benefits to QC or USB Type 3 unless these somehow charge faster.

Anything that needs a special charger (i.e. phone) has a type USB type C cable, so all good there.

Really after something to plug into the power and have it host a solid amount of charge without be le dodge.

I'll check the aliexpress stores for those suppliers for AU compatible stuff.

  • If none of your devices use QC, this is pretty good

Only 10 bucks a pop too, 40w will be plenty to charge a few devices at the same time at the max output

    • Thanks man, I'll check it. Nice of them to provide an AU powder adapter.
