      Correct.

Yes. I would not recommend these guys.

      1. Network coverage is pretty average. Many black spots compared to Optus/Telstra network
      2. They change international call rates more often than other carriers
      3. will charge you $11 -$15 when porting out to another provider

I am pretty happy with prepaid woollies plan.

      • Thanks opting out

      • Thnx for that

dealspider- I agree their international call rates are high. However this plans international included value is in minutes and so doesn't apply unless you go over the 100 minutes per month.

        • I agree on that point But, I was with them for couple of years. During that time, they changed pretty much everything from network to call rates to data…etc. I would not trust these guys for a minute. They can change anything they want after the initial contract period finished.

No tpg. $10 SIM, $20 port out fee when you go. These fees kill the deal

    • No MMS either.

Thanks jasseolf. Added to the original post about MMS.

How do they justify 20 bucks to port out?

    • +5

+1, OP should mention the port out fees.

      • I had listed the SIM fee when I placed the post.

If you can link to the T&Cs or somewhere on the TPG site where it lists the porting out fee for this plan I'll gladly add it.

sounds crap to me with these fees..

$20 port out fee when you go

Is it $20 now? Was $11 before. $20 also for the security deposit. You can try and get them back by bringing the TIO into it I guess.

    • thanks for the heads up ;D

Agree with all the comments above.. was with them for 5-7 years.. and would never go back to them .. fees, support, portal, app.. worst in every way possible..

    No TPG!
    1. $10 Sim
    2. $20 "prepayment" which they don't refund
    3. $20 port out fee
    4. horrible reception, there is no reception at all between the four stations on my local train line…

    • reception isn't TPG its the mobile carrier they are using

TPG have the worst support ever.

Check out the recent shonky rating post

  • I ported my number last year and the process was quite smooth. It was done within a day.
didn't have to talk to any of the operators.
The coverage is bad compare to my previous providers, I can notice that especially when I am in the train. It get cuts off if the train was under a building. But I only need to use the phone in metro area, so it's okay most of the time.
with 4G data, unlimited call and $15 monthly fee, this is probably the cheapest on the market so far, I don't expect great deal of support , and I will move to another provider after 6 months anyway…..
if someone spot any other deal with similar price, please do tell!!
