ASUS ROG GTX1050Ti Laptop Deal!

Purchasing Manager wants me to clear out this ASUS i7/16GB/256GB + 1TB /GTX1050ti ROG laptop, so here's what I've come up with. I think it's the best deal on this laptop by far - so please let me know, if you do know of a better deal:

Any deal for a laptop with 1060 graphics card or higher?

    • Hey distemper: Not at the moment, but if we manage to secure a good deal on a 1060 laptop, it will definitely pop up on here!

    • Theres only 2 available, but this seemed like alot of bang for buck. Asus 12 month warranty on a refurb ok perhaps?

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/173053763652 (PUPIL code for 20% off)

      • Hey Kevitkotw, if you're comparing like for like - our model is a brand new (not refurbished), 7th Gen i7 and 1050ti isn't a bad GPU by any means.

Regarding refurbished warranty - it's generally okay, but it really comes down to the re-seller and what the warranty covers. Wouldn't hurt to ask a few questions to re-seller.

In the end it comes down to your personal preference - they do both come down to similar prices.

        • Yeah I know i am comparing brand new vs refurbished.

Distemper asked about a faster gpu. 980 is considerably faster than a 1050.

        • @kevitkotw: GTX980 is definitely a nice GPU!

or the smack talk the kid gives when it's not a Macbook

  • Mr JW Computers rep sir.
If i purchase an Asus ROG STRIX GL503 model from your ebay store,
if i have a warrenty issue can i take it to an authorised asus warranty provider in Perth WA ?
or must one always return ship it to yourself.
And if so who pays the return shipping ?

    thanks

    • Hey manity,

ASUS Warranty will cover pickup and return on these laptops, if you are in a Metro area in your state. I'm not too sure if they have a ASUS authorised repair centre in WA though.

      Hope this helps!

Would not buy anything from them. This is their response when I questioned them about their price increase during the eBay sale on their Seagate Barracuda Pro 10TB HDD and the ASUS PG27AQ monitor. It is a farcical response when the prices on their eBay site is higher than their official website during the eBay sale.

" No "price jacking" is involved. Pricing is based on supply and demand, current pricing from our suppliers. "

Not really much of a deal since you can grab a 1060gtx laptop from Dell for $1399

    • Link plz and ty?

    • The one linked by PlushToys?
It has has half the RAM, no 1TB HDD for storage, i5 (still quadcore though).
I'd be inclined to say oranges and apples, but the 1060 pulls ahead quite a bit in the limited benchmarks i've seen*.
Still the deal here offers more overall I believe.
