please do a deal on 360 plan to match kogan deals

    • +2

      Just stack these vouchers

  • +3

kogan is still cheaper for the 6GB deal if you get the $50 voucher.

    • +3

How do you get the $50 voucher?

      • +1

Gumtree or eBay when you list an item. I got mine from Gumtree, at the end of the listing step you just need to submit your info to get the voucher.

        • I just posted on gumtree but there's Irving on the Kogan $50 voucher 😞😞😞

        • @DarthLord:

I think it randomly offers different vouchers, I posted several items and sometimes I was offered to do a survey or submit my info to a contest for a chance to win iPhone…

        • @DarthLord: I just posted, had some random questions about stuff I wasn't interested in, then a follow up $30 voucher. Brought a 16GB annual plan down to $225. Ridiculously cheap.

    • +1

yeah, How do you get the $50 voucher? ?

      • +1

no idea but there seems to be a lot of ppl selling then in the classifieds.

    • +4

      This had intl calls

  • Can this extend current plan expiry dates?

    • I had one month left. I placed a new 6 months offer on it. It did not extend it because the offer was going to expire, I had to use and Lebara didn't allow extending on current users that had days remaining.

      • +2

Hi, this doesn't sound right. The plans will stack if you are getting a plan of the same type. However if you went from another plan then it will overwrite that plan. If anyone has an issue our CS team can help. 126 122.

The plans it will stack on are Medium and Large (which used to be called National and Mega).

        • +1

          Hi Lebara,
I have National Plan 12 which will expire this July. Can I stack a Medium Plan 180/360 Day Recharge Voucher to extend the current expiry date this July?
What are the maximum days I can have with a Medium Plan?

        • +4

@Joe888: We renamed the plans when we added the unlimited international calling. On our end they are the same underneath so they will stack. Long story short you can stack a medium plan voucher onto your national plan 12.

You should be able to stack 2 of the 180 days onto your current plan. Theoretically you can have up to 24 x 30 day plans stacked or two 360's, 4 180's. If you do have an issue call us and we can fix it.

        • @Lebara-SC:
          Thanks.
          Success!
I stacked 180 days Medium plan onto my National plan 12. My original expiry date has been extended for 180 days.
Interesting: This 180 days Medium plan recharge voucher renamed as National Plan 6 when I recharged my current plan. My current plan name remains the same "National Plan 12" after these extended 180 days.
Yes, Medium is the same as National plan underneath indeed.

        • I'm guessing that means I can't stack 24 $1.90 small plans and get 2 years of half a gig of data for $50?

        • @Lebara-SC:
Hi m on National Plan 6 . How to get the recharge voucher to stack with my current plan?
          Thanks

  • +5

The advantage of this one compared to Kogan is the international calls. It is a great deal if you regularly call to any of those countries.

    • +3

The problem is that although you can call those other countries you can't text them. If there was a plan that allowed you to both call and text those 12 countries I'd jump on it.

      • That got me confused when I first switched to this Lebara plan last year. I thought there was something wrong with the plan so I contacted them and I was told international texting isn't included in the plan. I double-checked the plan's critical info and realized that I overlooked it initially. Now I have extra $10 credit (one of those vouchers from service stations) just for overseas texting.

        • Sorry, how did you add on international texting? I had a look on their website and couldn't see anything about add-ons that allowed you to add international texting.

        • @coldturkey: You buy just a $10 recharge voucher from petrol stations or anywhere else where they are sold, and you recharge that as per normal. With that you'll be able to text overseas.

  • @Joe888 - Your latest recharge will not remove your existing plan(s). Hence, your account's expiry date will be extended until the the latest recharge expiry date.

  • +2

Is anyone able to advise why international SMS and MMS are never included in these deals? and is this likely to ever change in the near future?

    • +2

You can't even use the $5 credit to send MMS or SMSes internationally. I'm the same as you I'd love to find a deal that allows you to MMS and SMS those countries in addition to calling.

      • +3

We'll take this on board and see if we can alter the product. It sounds like there are a few people that want this! Stay tuned.

        • +1

I will definitely upgrade to this if you can alter the product to allow international SMS and MMS messages

  • +1

PLUS registered Family and Friends in India.

Is that any limit how many number we can register?
Can we change registered numbers ?

    • +1

      Weird rule

    • You can change it once a month

  • +1

@talktoronak: Lebara customers can register up to 3 numbers on Friends and Family and can be updated once in a month from your mylebara account.

    • Thanks

    • Is this applicable ONLY for Indian numbers? Can I add a UAE number instead?

      • +1

This is for Indian numbers only.

  • Good deal however not for me as I make calls to India for work. Would have signed up if India was included in the selected countries.

    • +2

This plan includes $5 credit for international so you could call India for up to 250 minutes in a month. And you have unlimited to 3 registered numbers on top of that. Might not suit everyone but it is something that Lebara have that I believe no one else does (credit for ANY country).

  • +1

my current plan ends in March.

If I purchase the voucher and apply it now, will it extend the expiration date?

BTW, can you do a 360 deal?

    • We did a 360 deal and people wanted a 180!

The good news is that you can stack these vouchers. The price of this deal was approximately half of the 360 deal so it actually gives you more flexibility to choose what you want.

    • Sorry, missed part of your question. If you already have a Medium or Large Plan (was called National / Mega) then you can stack these vouchers onto it. If you have any trouble call our customer service on 126 122 and they will help you out.

      • @Lebara-SC, My current 12 month plan ends in August. Can i stack 2 vouchers to get an additional 12 months from my expiry in August?

  • +2

I am also interested on 360 days plans for $180

    • +1

I won't say never but it was hard work convincing the team of our last sale at $199. If you want 360 I would seriously consider buying two of these now (get a SIM pack and a recharge voucher). We may not do this again for a while. The recharge can be found here https://www.lebaraonline.com.au/prepaid-medium-180day-rechar…

      • What is the expiry for the recharge voucher?

        • "…vouchers must be activated within 60 days of purchase."

        • @Joe888:

So i will nees to use the recharge on the first 180 days?

        • @LoveBargain15:
If you buy a recharge voucher today, you will have 60 days from today to recharge you current compatible plan.

        • @Joe888: Thanks Joe! @LoveBargain. What he said.

  • +1

    Is international roaming available?

  • so if i buy two of this then i can activate both to stack up for 1 yr credit?
i am with optus now and thinking of going to lebara as my partner has been using lebara 360days sim for half a year now and very satisfied.

  • @Bryan1217: Yes, you can stack two 180 day Medium Plans which will give you 360 days of Medium Plan.
@see: We do not have international roaming as of now, stay tuned as it may come soon.

    • Limit two per household. Can I buy two SIM cards & two recharge vouchers?

    • great! thanks!
just bought 1 SIM and 1 recharge voucher! that will do for 1 yr.

will ask my partner to buy another recharge voucher as current one will expire in June.

      thanks again.

  • +1

    Be careful for Lebara
They sold international talk card (via groupon or scopon) more than a year ago and failed to deliver.
    Many calls, waiting months.
I would stay away from this people :(

    • Hi Sabric, we did run a promotion a few months ago on Scoopon however it was for a data pack. It's possible that the vouchers bought are still valid to use on our site. I can't recall off hand what the validity was. If you bought one and are having an issue give us a call and we can sort it out for you. 126 122.

      • for this offer, it says two per household. So can I buy two SIM cards and two vouchers?

How can I send text messages to international numbers?

        Thanks

        • You could buy two SIMs and two vouchers yes. And if you wanted to, the PIN's would all work on one SIM. You should really share this deal with your friends though ;)

        • Oh, and SMS to international numbers requires main balance. Or you could call them from your included credit.

        • @Lebara-SC: where can I find the cost of sending sms?

        • @Unavailable: It's in the Critical Information Summary www.lebara.com.au.critical-information

          TLDR: International SMS = 15c

  • Whats registered family and friends?

    • I guess, you need to add 3 numbers in your account. Calling to those 3 numbers will be free

      • You can add 3 numbers via MyLebara. They can be changed each month. Those numbers (for India on this plan) will be unlimited. For other Indian numbers (or anywhere else) you have $5 credit included every month.

        • How can I send text messages to international numbers?

          Thanks

        • +2

@Unavailable: At the moment you need to add main balance. It looks like there is a desire from OzBargainers to use the $5 credit. We will see what we can do.

        • @Lebara-SC: We will see what we can do. Should we expect something extra? If I buy today still we will be benefited?

        • @Unavailable: We honestly can't make promises here as it depends on the technology as to how it would be implemented. It's possible that if you buy now it becomes part of the plan. Please don't make a purchase decision based on this as there may be things that prevent it from happening for plans already recharged. If it works bonus.

  • Thanks bought 2 x sim starter packs and 2 x recharge. Been waiting for this deal as my current Kogan 365 national is about to expire. Also can you please confirm does Lebara 180 sim starter packs comes with voucher too? means can i just use starter pack voucher to recharge my existing lebara account? and what will be the mode of delivery of the recharge vouchers with and without simcard?

    • +1

Starter and recharge come with PIN so you could recharge your account with a starter pack. Don't waste that SIM though. Give it to a friend so they can enjoy Lebara too.

      • i have some other plans with that extra sim :D

  • +1

Last time I bought the same package from Lebara, somehow on my iPhone 6s Plus, it could only have 3G network, never goes to 4G. iPhone bought locally.

Does anyone has the same problem.

    • +1

Did you go into settings and enable 4G …

      • Yes, I did, but it's still shown 3G. Now I use vodafone prepaid, shown 4G.

  • Is there a connection charge for making calls with the $5 international credit?

    • +1

No connection charge on these plans.

      • Thanks :)

  • @Lebara-SC, can I port my Vodafone number when activating the sim?

    • +1

You can. As always if you have an issue just call us.

  • I hope its 4G data not 3G as mentioned by someone in the comments about not getting 4g coverage on his iPhone.

  • I purchased this, do i receive the voucher instantly by email or is it sent by post …

    • +1

i received my 2 voucher codes via email in couple of hours time.

  • Does this or Kogan have voLTE HD calling as a Vodafone reseller

  • not as good as deals on Groupon e.g. amaysim

    • Is there any Groupon amaysim now? Previously I bought a coupon something like $25 for 6mths amaysim with 2gb and unlimited calls.

So, really hope Groupon will have similar deal as my plan will expire in two months. So, am thinking if I should port to lebara

      • nothing atm

  • +1

Any excess data charges, or internet just stops working until the month rolls over
    Also, is this Vodafone network?

    • +1

      movieman
      Yes Vodafone network

    • Internet stops working unless you purchase data.

"30GB total data to use in Australia, split into 30 day blocks of 5GB (data sessions rounded to the nearest KB), which is replenished every 30 days. Unused data expires on next recharge, the beginning of the next 30-day block or expiry date of the Recharge, whichever is earlier. If 5GB is reached before 30 days has elapsed, access to data will cease unless the customer has main balance (charged at $0.02/MB) or until the customer recharges or purchases a data pack."

    • Looks like no excess data charges. This is a good feature..

  • Can I buy 3 sim packs? Whole family switching over.

  • Using Amaysim at the moment, 2 questions:

    1) Can I buy this now, activate in March (when Amaysim finishes)?

    2) Can I port the Amaysim number?

    • +1

Activate within 60 days, and yes you can port

  • +1

Been with them since the last 180$ for 360 days plan (5G monthly). Mostly great service and for the price it's worth it. I also like not having to check my phone bill every month.

  • Any chance of of getting 360 days for $200

    • Just for you we will do 360 days for $198!!!

Buy the SIM and a recharge PIN. You can stack these. Why not go all out and get a SIM and two recharges and you'll be set for a year and a half!

      Recharge PIN is here https://goo.gl/T1JR3m

      • But voucher needs to be used in 2 months otherwise it will expire. It has expiry date of 2 months.
