    This is Series-0 :)

I was about to say the same thing

Series 0 is not worth it now, 3 generations old, so it will be laggy.

if you want a watch, get at LEAST the S1 or S3, with the S2 being discontinued

      • I have a series 0 steel as my daily driver and it runs fine without any lag. I keep seeing bargains on later series and think why bother, my current one is fine…

        • just upgraded from series 0 to series 3. What a difference. So snappy fast. Talking Siri etc…

        • I was using a S0 just fine until I upgraded to the S3 last year. The S0 was fine but I wouldn't say that its a good purchase if you haven't already got one. Its much slower than the S3 and I can't imagine will be in support much longer.

      • My S0 was completely unusable.

What is GG smoking… "Polished Stainless White Sport". The Sport never came in stainless…

    • I imagine it's short for: "Polished Stainless [Steel], with White Sports Band"

      • It gets worse. The description starts with "Apple Watch Sport features aluminium cases" then goes on to describe the steel one too.

Good for someone who wants to feel the feel of using an Apple Watch for 200 Bucks with 2 years Warranty from Apple ;)

  • The Apple Watch Sport and one of the Stainless Steel ones are on the site for $169 but sold out. Wish this was posted earlier :(

$199 still seems too expensive for the original model.

    • That 38mm with the Milanese Loop for $169… OMG!! None left. :(

  • Unfortunately, I go against many principles as an OzBargainer and tend to chase the latest releases in tech, but I’ve got the Series 0 Apple Watch and I have to say that I’ve never considered upgrading it. I use it for fitness tracking, notifications, and time (surprise, surprise) and never have any issues.

Unless you’re actively using the Apple Watch, then this would be perfectly fine. Not to mention the added benefit of a Stainless Steel case and Sapphire Glass face (if this is indeed that model) over aluminium and “Ion-X” glass.

    • Not to mention that some people think nothing of dropping ~$200 on a watch that just tells the time anyway. Might as well get a multipurpose device for that price.

      • Agreed. Wife's one works fine no lag, great for notifications. Have not considered upgrading as it does it's job very well

For the people that are saying no lag, if you haven't tried all of them out side-by-side, I suggest going into the store to test it out. A simple operation of starting an exercise workout for example, or swiping between apps, you will see just how much difference. I'm not disagreeing with comments saying series 0 works perfectly fine as everyone has a different level of tolerance, but for some that are reading the comments here that haven't played around with series 3 and series 0 side by side (or those that own a series 0 and think its fine but haven't actually tested series 3), just go and have a fiddle. In my personal experience upgrading from series 2 -> series 3 its a big difference (I never had a series 0, but I wouldn't imagine my old series 2 would be slower than the series 0).
