Dammit just ordered 8 on ebay earlier this week for around $30

    • Was yours made in Japan?. Because these are here. What a deal.

  • Is this made in Japan or China?

    • I just looked on the back of the package photo and it says Made in Japan. Some good stuff there. That's the best Eneloop.

    • NVM

      Country of origin: Japan

AUSSIE code works in the browser too. But you pay $7 postage.

    • +1

      Yes shipping kills

  • I get $12.93?

    • +1

Maybe an extra $1 to WA. Is it showing 7.95 postage?

      • yep

      • +2

joined club catch, but found out minimum $50 for free shipping

      • Can we opt out before 1 month expire?

        • After i joined, i saw i can unsubscribe. it just expired end of months. but i refunded mine instead

      • Minimum $50 spend to get free shipping, you find out after signing up.
Any success in getting a refund on this?

        • +1

yes, got refund pretty fast using live chat. 1 mins waiting for the person and done in another 3 mins, 4-5 mins for the whole process. I didn't use the club catch though, not sure if it will be that easy if you used it.

  • Bought 1 thanks

Got the Eneloop Pros for $16.93 Worked fine through the desktop browser, I don't think the app is needed.

  • Thank you op as stated dont need the app worked with out.

  • What sort of chargers will these work in?

    • Any smart charger is fine, La Crosse BC700, Nitecore D4, etc

  • +1

What are your thoughts on pricing for AAA?
Got 3 packs of AA thanks

    • Not so good, extra $5 for the AAA's. $2.50-$3 per battery is usually the best price possible for these. That's what i'd wait for if you're in no rush.

      • And in that deal they're up at about $4.25ea
        Hmmm
Maybe the pro are worth it?

        • Yeah I bought the Pros for this price

  • +1

Does it come with charger or have to buy in separately ?

    • Yes you buy that separately.

    • I've heard buy a smart charger if possible, nitecore d4, lii 500

    An eneloop deal on OzBargain.
    Order has been restored.

  • Will these charge in my Apple battery charger?

  • Thanks OP, don't really need them but good as a spare set..

Just to throw the cat out ATP - Even better value the Coles rechargeable rated higher than Enloops by Choice. Heres the review summary: https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/160676/55916/screen_sh… - note overall score in blue from best on left to worst on right.

I've just bought some AA's from them but too early to say how they go but seem fine. They are now $7 for a pack of 4 aa's. https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-nsw-metro-west-ryde/product/co…. Also do aaa.

Even if they are not better seems a bargain.

    Hope this helps.

    • Coles rechargeable are not that durable,
More than 150 recharge before 1st failure is marked as No….
where as Eneloop have no issues even with 200+ recharges

      • Testing results seem a bit weird though because apparently the Eneloop Pro failed to achieve even 100 recharges whereas Panasonic claims 500 times recharge.

I dunno anymore about Eneloops even at this special price. IKEA Laddas $2 a pop. Aldi $1.50 a pop. HobbyKing a tad under that. Laddas proven and tested enough for me (thanks Lii-500 lol). I'd rather the 2 extra Ladda batteries for $12 … (not that it's sold that way)
Luckily I bought enough Eneloops back in the hey day, but yeah if I needed more in future I prob won't fork out for them.

I know, blasphemy for OzBargain lol.

    • not blasphemy …slow discharge nimh is well established technology now and eneloops haven’t come out with any innovations as others have caught up and in some cases surpassed.

  • Damn…11.93 delivered. Used the 10 voucher.

Thought I have enough of eneloops sitting in my drawer…

  • Thanks OP, $10 voucher used on the AAA's 4 pack. Not the best pricing history wise, but really needed 4 extra AAA's. Perfect timing.

FYI everyone else, $10 voucher single use only. No reordering to get another $10 off the next one too ;).

  • I bought Eneloops a while ago which look identical to these ones except they're made in China.
Oddly enough when charging they cut off at 1.42V while my energizers cut off at 1.52V which is the peak of the voltage range for Ni-mh cells.

    • Higher voltage at cut-off usually indicates the batteries have a higher internal impedance. This means those batteries won't work well in high-drain devices, like cameras and high-power flashlights.

      • Aah that must explain it then. I have everyreadys that are 10 years old and it would not terminate even at 1.53V, I just took it off charge because the cell was so hot.

  • ordered Eneloop Pro using new account via OPs referral & Coupon $16.93. ordered Eneloop regulars for $11.93 using $10 referral credit. Eneloop all the way !

    • How long did it take to get the referral credit? I'm trying to do the same thing as you, after the first order still waiting for the referral credit/store credit to show up.

Edit: all good it arrived, just needed a bit of patience.

Edit2: dammit sold out by the time the credit arrived. I should've bought the standard AAs first.

      • Mine was instant. Sorry that you missed out

  • What’s a good but cheap charger to use on these?

    • The Xtar VC4 works great. This is a usb charger. The outer 2 slots can charge at 1Amh. If 4 slots are used it charges at 500 mAh. It can charge both NiMH and Li-ion batteries. I think you can get it for US$25.

  • Cheers got some

  • Thanks OP. Got a pack of Pro.

  • OZBARGAINED!

  • IKEA ones are cheaper, higher capacity and made in Japan.

  • I bought these after they were posted as out of stock here, back in stock? Confirmation came about 4:20pm so a few minutes earlier than that.

  • Thanks to all those who mentioned Eneloops
