Anyone care to explain what the 3 stages of battery charging are? I have a cheap car/motorcycle battery charger from Aldi that works fine an cost 15 bucks, not sure why I need one of these.
Better for the battery to have the charge come at different rates. Starts fast and ends with a trickle from what i remember.
Not sure but the Aldi one may even do this, I will check when I am back home. It does have some intelligence to it, I know that's when it's full it switches to trickle at least.
To be honest how often does someone's battery die anyway? And if it's not at home you are probably jumping the car and going for a drive.
More about maintenance. I give my battery a water top up and full charge every couple months. Battery lasts around 10-15years. If you have a car/ boat sitting idle for more than 3 weeks in summer it will need a charge.

Yeah, have to agree with some members here some items ok.. but.. last week I was looking at a gazebo was advertised at $150 on the website. A few days later it went up to $250 for a week, now its $200 and they advertise 20% off which takes it back down to even higher than it was originally.. just beaware guys.. its not all that it seems. Makes you think you getting a good deal..
