I think officeworks has these for $5 at the moment or you can get them even cheaper from ebay/gumtree.

    From that, I would say 500 MB is what you would normally get and then you get 14.5 GB on top as a bonus.

  would have been handy a week ago (to use in a hotspot) when I got very close to my limit and risked paying $10 to go 1GB over my monthly limit.
  Can anyone confirm these are useable in a hotspot ?

  OTR (BP on the run) in SA has these for $3 at the moment.
  Note the fine print says the 14.5GB "bonus" could take up to 3 days to apply (out of a 7 day plan!) but for me it thankfully only took 10 panicked mins. Only a few mins to activate on a saturday arvo too.
