Free shipping only available for two or less.

  • How does the shipping compare to say gearbest or bang good?

    • +5

      Much slower. ETA 1 month.

  • Thanks

  • Great.. missed out on the last couple of deals.
    Thanks OP!

Has anyone else had trouble with these? The USB ports on 2 of these have failed for me in less than 1 year. The last one kept tripping the fuses in my home.

    • +12

      Hmm that’s worrying

    • +2

Thanks for asking - I was starting to wonder if my issues were isolated. Exactly same happened to me for two of them out of the six I bought. That's the reason I've stopped buying these. Disappointing. Even their powerbanks are starting to have issues. Their previous fatter version (10600mah ones) were so much more reliable but no QC 2.0 on those.

    • Just the USB ports right? So, I'll probably get the ones without it then should be fine. Been looking at these for quite a while.

      • Just wondering what would be the point of buying them without USB ports when you can get cheaper local power boards that are certified to AU standards?

        • +1

In my case, the american and European plugs that all work with one power-board. Its better than having adapters for each of them and those can get clunky.

        • @FuzzyWolf:
Ah that makes sense. I don't know of any local boards that do that.

Well I dont know how to neg this company and therefore the deal but they will constantly spam your inbox. You cannot unsubscribe even if you click unsubscribe on the bottom of the emails. 5 or more emails a day. Do not give them your main email address

    • +9

You can unsubscribe using this method.

      • Thanks mate. He posted that 6 months ago and its still not fixed. Defeinitely not trusting them with any of my money

        • +6

That's understandable, was just trying to help you out to get rid of the spam :)

        • +1

Yea, I appreciate it thanks! I hate being spammed by emails and I think youve finally sorted it for me

        • @BarryBargain88:
          Neg removal would be appropriate.

        • +2

          @BarryBargain88:
I had to unsubscribe 7 times via email and on my accounts page before it finally stopped.
Well… For the past 10 days anyway.

      @BarryBargain88

Here is my trick if you are that worried..

-sign up for a domain that has email forwarding
-everytime you signup to a new website, use an email address like [email protected]
-if you have issues with unsubscribing, you can just use gmail or your mail client to say, forward any email sent to [email protected].

From a security standpoint this is a good idea as if one of the websites you are on gets hacked, they usually use the email address and password combo from the site. Because you are using unique email address less chance of your details falling in the wrong hands.

Also if you get spammed, you know exactly which website sold your details and can forward their mails to your junk box.

few other details I sure I left out here and yes it does cost you a little bit year, but its the trick that I have been using, and it works quite well.

Which domain do u recommend? Any free ones?

        • Keen to know too! Thanks!

        • @OzFrugie @D6C1

If you want free… best option is the gmail.. as cap blah posted below.

I have multiple accounts with multiple providers.. I use Zuver for my aussie. they are pretty good and provide the free email forwarding.

But there may be better ones out there.

          cheers

        • I use this one dnt.abine.com generates an email address that goes to your regular email, if you don't want mail from it, just log on and turn that one off. Does it all right from your browser with an extension.

      • +2

You can always use the hassle-free "+whatever" on gmail accounts and control this way as well…

        Example, you have: [email protected]
You subscribe to a website saying your email is: [email protected]
It'll go to "[email protected]" and you can use "websiteabc" for filtering (send to a particular folder, or even just add to the spam rules) and solve the "un-unsubscribable" problem.

        cheers

    • Why neg the company becuase of emails? there is unsubscribe button and it works

      • Because the button doesnt work. I have recently been informed this is the method

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/313873

        • I unsubscribed the other day using their link

        • +1

I sympathise, it took about 10 attempts for me as well before I stopped getting spammed by them

        • +2

Fact is you've got a grievance with the company and that's ok i haven't got an issue with that (no one wants to get spammed) - but you're neg is for this deal in particular and it's a good deal…take it to the forums!

        • @urbancartel: the neg is staying. The deal is guaranteed to come with Spam. An issue they have known about for over 6 months.
