Bosch Professional Hammer Drill & Impact Driver, 2 x 3Ah Batteries, Case - $305 (-7% CR) Delivered @ BlackwoodsXpress

70

Another deal from BlackwoodsXpress here. For $305 delivered you get:

  • GSB18V-LI Professional Series Hammer Drill/Driver
  • GDR18V-LI Professional Series Impact Driver
  • 2 x 3Ah 18V Batteries
  • AL1820 CV Fast Battery Charger
  • Hard Carry Case

The hammer drill has very similar specs incl. torque to the DeWalt in the last deal. Good for those after a case and impact driver. But not brushless.

Some notes:

  • Use Cashrewards for a 7% cashback - brings it down to $283.65
  • Free delivery for metro Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane only. Yes, BlackwoodsXpress likes these places of Australia and really has no time for the others. Well, you can't blame them holding a grudge against Adelaide. But I couldn't locate this on their other site - www.blackwoods.com.au.
  • You could try subscribing to their mailing list to get a $20 voucher to bring it down further but latest comments from last deal indicated this won't work on this deal. Good luck!

  • Are you sure they are Brushless?

    • Actually, no I'm not. Took that idea from CS. But I can't find this online. Happy for someone to locate info otherwise.
      Cheers

Not brushless. These are old stock. It would be interesting to see the build dates on them, particularly the batteries.

  • Anyone know: With carbon brush and no carbon brush, which torque is big?thanks!

  • Not brushless

  • I have a feeling that the Stanley FatMax, AKA Porter*Cable has one of the higher torque ratings for the impact.

I've got this impact driver, it's not bad, not loads of grunt but very controllable in terms of speed, load and control if you need to put a lot of pressure on a bit and slowly drive it. I like it, and I've dropped it and beaten it up plenty of times and it's fine, mind you the Bosch Blue tools have this weird flexible plastic that you can bend to hell and it won't break.

  • I have a feeling as the brand names are still selling brushed tools to keep prices down and sweat their production line toolings, the Ozito brushless especially when bunnings have the 4ah batteries on special is a better choice.

Brushless motor is the direction of development in the future,KitchenAid mixer believes that the brushless motor will be changed in the future.
