This star chart software requires 64-bit Windows 10.

The user interface is quite bad but it gives a lot more numerical data than the typical sky map app on a smart phone. It is defintely not worth $14.95 but its shortcomings are tolerable for a freebie.

The only reason you can see stars through the moon sometimes is because the moon is not solid but rather a light as described in the Bible. Stars are depicted inside crescent moons in various world flags. Nasa lies about everything, if you know how video compression etc works you will see that the International space station is fake caught out in a live feed with astronauts disappearing yet background intact… https://youtu.be/oo3btAFI0O0

If anyone's interested, there's a NASA website called "Spot the Station" which will email you the next time the International Space Station will be visible over your house (usually just after sundown, when the sky overhead is dark but the ISS is still high enough to catch the sun).

The ISS is the size of a US football field, and it's only 400Km above the earth, so it's easily visible as a fast-moving (faster than a plane) bright dot to the naked eye. If you've got a decent telescope and a steady way of tracking it, you see detail on the thing - enough to confirm it's really unaerodynamic, and has to be above the atmosphere to go that fast.

I showed my nephews and nieces, and they all freaked out and wanted to become astronauts - suddenly it's a real job people do, and not just something you see on cartoons.

  • This would be amazing with HoloLens haha :)
