    Damn my deal doesn't seem as good now lol

    • I think your deal is the better one, the difference in performance is tiny for most people. 10% cheaper :)

      • And for the people who can collect return/warranty would be easier

  • For the few $ difference this is a better buy than the other PLE Silicon Power deal, as Crucial being Micron's retail arm control the manufacturing process from start to finish.

  • If Catch are getting in on RAM sales, something's definitely up with pricing.

      Manufacture was ramped up by Samsung et al for volume to satisfy demand in H2 this year. Now Bitcoin has crashed and will no doubt affect pricing. I'm interested to see price trends heading into March for an indication of where things are headed.

        Yeah that's what I'm saying: the price drops would already be trickling in at their end, so this is a cash grab, pure and simple.

  • What were prices before the recent price spike? I'm not even sure what a good deal on RAM is anymore.
