  • I'm a bit skeptical. Don't understand the technology but there has to be a catch. It has only 1 lens. Do you mean 180° Horizontal + 180° Vertical?

    • The catch might be you might need to buy 2 in order to do 360° as (2 x 180°)

      • That could be true.

    • Technically it is NOT a 360 camera - it will do a hemisphere's worth at best with curved lens. Quality is low compared to the likes of Gear 360 etc. Doesn't look like it does still shots - or the quality it too low to be printed here.

  • Looks to be either the SOOCOO C-UBE360 Mini Sports Action Cam or a replica of it.

  • Out of stock already ~~

      You were lucky.

nah…. I missed out too, that's why I know it's out of stock.. hahaha

          I meant u were lucky u didn't buy ;)

        • @rob359: LoL ~~

    • If you are serious about a 360 camera, get this instead:

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Gear-360-Camera-SM-C200-…

$120 delivered with the 20% Voucher code. Much better quality and setup than this.

      • I got the Version 1 many months ago from OZB deals as well, You can see everything surround you, but nothing is clear enough to claim "good"…

        • Good for you. I doubt a $20 one from some unknown Chinese brand will do any better. lol

      • +1

Cheaper to buy from Amazon US. ∼AUD91 delivered. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01D9LVL3G/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=…

  • Haha, I am a bad boy, bought two, not sure why

    • And yes, I have a theta as well

    • NOTE: The website was showing 7 in stock when my order went through.

______LATER EDIT___: found another email in my spam box (how fitting):

I am contacting you regarding your purchase for our 720p 360 Camera. Unfortunately we oversold, and have ran out of stock in this item.

I apologise for the inconvenience caused, and the delay in us writing this email to you.

In this case, I have provided you a full refund on your order.

Please confirm once you have received the refund.

Please don’t hesitate to send me an email if you have any questions.

      Thanks,

      • HI Cristtos,

I apologise for the inconvenience I have caused you,

It was a mistake on my side with the stock level calculations.

I hope you can forgive me.

        Thanks,
        Seb

        • Apology accept.
I can also confirm I have received the refund.

        • Just for our information - how many units did you actually have in stock when you got ozbargained?

        • @cristtos:

I had 7 units in stock

        • @ModernPowerSolutions: Wow, and you dared put it on ozbargain? :)

        • @cristtos:

          What do you mean?

        • @ModernPowerSolutions: So how many sales did you expect? Have you seen the expression "got ozbargained" before?

        • @cristtos:

          Obviously expected to sell 7,

I have not heard of "got ozbargained" before

        • @ModernPowerSolutions: For example I, for one, was tossing between 2 and 3 for my order… I can only assume many others were looking to get at least one.

The point is: when you publish an offer on ozbargain, if it is truly a spectacular offer (like yours sort of was), you should be prepared for a deluge of orders. Some serious websites got taken down by the number of bargain hunters trying to order = getting ozbargained.
To be brutally honest with you, putting an ad on ozbargain with 7 units for sale is laughable…

          But we learn…

        • @cristtos:

I agree with you, the stock isn't a lot. But thats all I had…..

In future, if I need to get rid of stock, do you suggest I don't publish a post on Ozbargain with a ridiculously cheap price?

I am basically not making money considering logistics costs will be approx. $10+

I am only trying to support the OzBargain community by offering cheap products for people to take advantage of?

        • @ModernPowerSolutions: You may state "stock very limited, 7 only!" to keep a cap on the expectations…
When I ordered and the stock was showing "7" I was like "Cool, I got in just in time, the stock is just about to run out", I have never imagined that ALL stock was 7.
Also you may want to implement some automated stock update after the ordering, to avoid orders when stock is exhausted.
          my2c

        • @cristtos:

Yes, I agree with you, I should have put only 7. Will do in future.
