One of the more interesting products called the "TicHome Mini" is a Google Home Smart speaker that you can shower with. It has a built in battery with 6 hours of runtime and IPX6 splashproof ratings. The reviews aren't very good however, only scoring 3.5 stars out of 5 on Cnet.

I think you'' find the Express is cheaper than that $162.32 - I've got the Sport and posted a deal recently from Amazon with a great price Ticwatch S - hopefully they match that again but ship all colours to Aus

    I also don't see how you get $102 for the TicHome mini - they're $177.54 AUD - 20% off is nowhere near $102 ??

    • Got the white one in the Amazon deal too. Hopefully turns out ok reading plenty of reports on Mobvoi forums that users having issues. Eeep

      • +1

I've had no issues, but I do follow a FB page just for Ticwatch users and have heard of a few issues with the OLED screen and Battery drain - I think you'll be pretty safe buying on Amazon if anything goes wrong just send it back ;)

        • The Tichome prices have been raised a lot from $99 to $139.99.

Cnet also notes that their retail prices are usually at $99, so I've edited the title to remove it now

also edited Ticwatch E to 161.39

        • @scrimshaw:

          All good! Cheers mate!

Runs TickWatches own OS….I would rather get the Samsung Gears right?

      • and that gears will be running tizen..
i would rather get android wear watches

          This is Androidwear 2.0

          THE LATEST ANDROID WEAR
With Android Wear 2.0, Ticwatch SE comes with the latest Android watch OS, giving you access to the entire Google Play ecosystem available to wearables.

        • Yea but apparently the gear and ticwatch are the only ones that look like watches…

      • +1

Nah the newest models are E & S and run AndroidWear 2.0

        • Oh right, I was looking at the classic and active. S and E looks pretty average watch wise. They are cheap for an android wear watch with a round face though!

  • I preordered the E and received it in December. The only issue I've found is that "ok google" doesn't pick up very well, but holding the button on the side for a few seconds launches it anyway. Battery life easily lasts a day after the first couple of charges. Works with all Android Wear apps.

    • I found that too but have since realised that you need to raise your arm and wait for the watch to wake…are you using IOS or Android phone?

      • Android. I turned off tilt to walk to save battery. So it pretty much meant I had to tap first anyway.

  • Looks a lot nicer than my fit bit - Does it measure sleep?

    • +1

It does with Sleep As Android, but you would need to charge it before bed and charge it again in the morning. I usually get about 16 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Can do heart rate and fitness tracking. Seems pretty similar in step counting as fitbit was.

  • NEWYEAR previously done the same level of discount (20%) and another around xmas time - so it's been the same level of discount for about two months. It's starting to make me think it's a fake discount.

  • does anyone know these watches it works well with iphones? just want to use it for notifications and a way to see if smartwatches are worth using.

    • Android wear (which it uses) goes fine and has an iphone app to use it.

  • if you are not a watch wearer, might be a good idea to try on a similar diameter watch to get an idea of the size. can't seem to find a decent size Android wear watch that isn't around 45mm. (unlike Apple watch at 38mm). once a normal size / nice looking watch comes out, I'm sure a lot more people will get on board with Android Smart watches

  • I want to buy one of these for casual wear but have no idea what model to get, what's best?

  • Think it's expired now - code's showing as not recognised for me T_T
