    I previously bought this Micro USB to Type C converter from Gearbest. Tried it on at least 5 different Micro USB cables and still can not get it to work. Phone always cannot detect the USB Type C converter. Not sure what I am doing wrong but surely this cannot be that hard.

      Purchased from Zapals; and can't get the Type C converter to work for charging Galaxy Note 8, or my PowerBank purchased from Gearbest. Using multiple MicroUSB cables which all work fine when using the genuine Type C converter that was provided by Samsung in my Note 8 accessory box… Unfortunately the Micro USB to Type C converter from Zapals isn't large enough to even be a paperweight, so ended up binning it. Won't charge, or provide data capabilities for any device.

      EDIT: It was an offer from Zapals.

    I've bought a few of these over the past 6 months.
    They're fantastic, and very high quality. I keep one in with my coins in case I need to charge somewhere with primitive micro-usb cables.
